If Keon had been sitting morosely on the bench or standing shoulders down in front of the sideline heater, he'd be criticized for being disconnected.

You’re probably right about that, so how about he just show up on time and work hard, and then this stuff wouldn’t be an issue

Makes it even worse they drafted him and he's made no progress. His actions appear to be that of a meathead.

I’d rather see video of Coleman celebrating Bills TD.  Hoecht had torn Achilles, and told doctors he was gonna stay on bench, and watch game.  He then asked McD if we could go watch with the defense.  Hoecht celebrated with Bills jubilantly, with a torn Achilles.  If Keon can’t celebrate with his teammates, is dancing on sideline, and was vague in postgame interview if he got the message or not.  Not a good look Keon at the very least.  Compare and contrast Keon and Hoecht, it’s a massive difference.

Coleman seems to always say the right things in the media but by his actions he is showing he doesn't get it or understand what he is saying

Hopefully someone he understands and respects gets through to him, how great of an opportunity playing with Josh Allen really is. Not many young receivers come right out of college and are given an opportunity to be a go to player with a QB the caliber of Allen

Exact-a-Mundo.

Show up, work hard, don't take plays off, and give it all he's got, and no one will be slagging on Keon.

Outside of an Eric Moulds type takeoff, Coleman will not be a Buffalo Bill next season.

Honestly curious if they would cut bait this early. Trade is likely at best a 6 or 7.  Would McB take that?  Lots of reasons for a yes or no.

So, what happens next season when/if Coleman is late for another meeting? A 2 game suspension?

Tyrell Shavers was on WGR today an admitted that when he found out Friday Coleman wasn’t playing, it altered what he was being asked to do Sunday by a lot.

Coleman is a selfish, bad teammate. He can’t be relied upon and his next boo-boo, especially if it comes next season, will fall right at the feet of McDermott and Beane. However, that won’t happen because Keon won’t be here. They will flat out cut him if they can’t find a trade partner. Take it to the bank.

Why are people wanting to continue to punish a player who has already been disciplined for his actions?

Leaving him behind to “teach him a lesson” is just punitive beyond a reasonable measure.

“If you want a student to learn math, you teach them math. If you want a student to learn to read, you teach them to read. If you want a student to learn to behave, we punish?”

This is a line of thinking that some of you have adopted. Behavior is LEARNED and therefore must be relearned, taught and supported. Consequence plays a role in this but it is not the sole measure needed to get what we need from Coleman. We must remember, this organization WANTS Coleman to succeed (clearly unlike some of you). Therefore, they should be taking the steps to help him mature not driving a wedge between them.

In an unrelated example: If an addict who attends meetings relapses, they don’t cut him out of the next meeting. They encourage his participation, pick him up, hold him accountable by building rapport. Relationships matter.

Ill get off my soap box now but I hope that those who feel they need to continue to twist the knife think about what the positive and negative results from this might be.
