EmotionallyUnstable Posted 8 hours ago Posted 8 hours ago Slowly working through the All 22 vs Miami and I am dropping this here because the talent vs Brady thread is buried… I will speak for the first three drives. Our passing offense was so out of synch…and it had little to do with separation, at least from the opening gun. There are guys running through zones (Shavers, Samuel) into defenders, and Allen passing up quick reads for whatever reason (once to Coleman, once to Shavers). When a team comes out and plays an entire quarter that seems very unprepared and making these mental errors I question how well they’ve been prepared for these situations. 1 Quote

I think I’ve heard Allen, Joe Brady and Spencer Brown all said Mia D were doing stuff never seen before on tape in the first quarter and it affected their gameplan early. Someone else mentioned it to but I’m not sure who. They also said it’s probably an adjustments the team made after the Jalen Phillips trade. Edited 8 hours ago by BananaB Quote
zow2 Posted 8 hours ago Posted 8 hours ago Sadly the Bills and their supposedly very good Oline cannot impose their will against some of these lesser teams. I think it’s attitude and preparation. 1 Quote

CodeMonkey Posted 7 hours ago Posted 7 hours ago The sports books disagree with most on this thread. They still think the betting public needs encouragement to put their $$$ on the Bucs. Buffalo Bills: -250 Tampa Bay Buccaneers: +200 Bills giving 5.5 points. Quote

Well... thats almost an improvement. Last year they were running routes into each other instead of into the other team lol. Quote

Which is good because Bucky is skilled...but the Bucs have other good RBs. "He has to be able to take a hit before returning" - why are they concerned about this for their RB against our D amirite Edited 1 hour ago by stevewin 2 Quote

It was quite obvious after the first 2 drives that the Bills were totally unprepared to play. Looked like they did no prep and had very low energy across the board. Everyone was kind of jogging around going through the motions. Defense was on their heels watching teammates try to tackle instead of hustling to the play and helping. What’s discouraging is they never could snap out of it. Never showed any fire or emotion. Almost like they didn’t want to be there. 5 hours ago, Comebackkid said: wr running right to the defenders has been a season long issue... ive mentioned defenders at times can just sit pat and route takes wr right to them. Does anyone that studies film know what plays the Bills go to when they are blitzed? The only play I ever see is the quick sideline screen to Shakir and teams know that’s coming now. Why is it so hard for this team to run screens to rb’s? The Bucs are going to stack the box to stop the run and blitz. What are the Bills answers? They have had none thus far. 1 Quote

What about Houston 4 days later? Quote
