I was hoping they’d teach him to play WR and defense and kick field goals as well as thats the only shot we have with this group. I’d probably be frustrated too if I were saddled with another year of the entire organizations main strategy being me going out and pulling some kind of other wordly play off to keep us winning ball games instead of getting me just one competent receiver. Dude is very publicly carrying the weight of an entire organization on his shoulders with zero help. The fact that Beane and McDermott are still employed lets me know that the Pegulas are perfectly content to just make a playoff appearance every year before packing it in You can't put this on Kim anymore as she hasn't been involved with the Bills or Sabres since her health declined. Terry's oldest daughter who is being groomed to be the next Bills owner after Terry probably doesn't have any influence right now to make decisions. This is all on Terry Pegula as far Sean and Brandon still being here. Quote

Blame it on all of the obvious is fair, but Josh also has to shoulder blame, as he has been not going through his progressions fast enough, he's broke the pocket when he didn't need to on numerous occasions, as well as not using one his key strengths, which is running when no one is open. It's like he hesitant more than ever to run, when in years past he killed defenses with his legs when his guys weren't open. When i suggested taking a closer look at Allen's performance I was told I dont know football. 1 Quote

And here I am racking my brain trying to think of ways to get these bums in the WR room open and I'm coming up empty. The answer was there the whole time!!! Bench Josh Allen!!!! Billsfanatic8989 Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago (edited) A Trubisky led Bills team would get demolished by Cleveland. And I'm pretty sure the Jets would pull out a win. I would watch just to see how bad they truly are without Allen. Pegula would fire McBeane when the stadium is empty and he isn't making money off concession sales. NoHuddleKelly12 Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago Couldn’t disagree with the OP more—let’s try like a billion other things first that are plainly needed before we sit the MVP. But that’s just my humble opinion. Quote
racketmaster Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago JA deserves a significant amount of blame for the lack of passing game as does the wrs and the OC. He seems to be struggling with his confidence and the OC needs to scheme up some easier completions to help our qb. The wrs are what they are and need to have some better schemes to get them open. Teams all around the league do this with bunch sets but we have been so te and rb focused we rarely see 3 wrs on the field unless it is desperation time. 1 Quote

And if the the Titans were on the schedule, that would be a 50/50 game at best. So in a perverse way, I would watch just to see how awful they truly are. Oh, the stadium would be empty while McBean work to be placed into the witness protection program. umm Trubisky came in against the Jets actually and threw a bomb pass so i think your assessment is wrong there Quote
racketmaster Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago Playing nearly error free on offense and getting so many turnovers on defense seemed to have given the HC and GM the false idea that they could just run it back and lean even more into the running game. Quote
ALLinALLEN Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago Other teams fans come here, to this post, and laugh at us. Anybody giving this actual credibility is a moron, sorry. Quote

Buffalo ill Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago I don't think Allen is the problem, but he has been part of it lately. More of a result of his back breaking from having to carry the team. I was quick to jump on the F Diggs bandwagon, and I still think a guy getting paid that much should handle himself more professionally. However, it is clear Josh isn't a motivator like many SB champion QBs. He, and the team are exactly what you would expect from a group that has "mr brightside" as a fight song. They miss Digg's talent and fire. I get the impression Diggs wants to win a superbowl above all else now that he is rich. He clearly saw it wasn't going to happen with McBean and a xanax stupor locker room, no matter how talented the QB is. 1 Quote
Joe Ferguson forever Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago (edited) If we get to a .500 record or are eliminated from the playoff race, they should bench Josh to protect him from serious injury. Then draft and/or sign some decent WR's in the offseason. Edited 3 hours ago by Joe Ferguson forever 1 Quote
