They say never talk religion or politics at work. Nobody never said nothing about football! I say let him have it!!

Does that apply if you work at a church, or in congress? They must talk a LOT of football at work!

on X there's a massive contingent of Ravens fans who have 17 living rent free in their heads on a daily basis.

Bills fans are level headed and wouldn’t allow some player to jade them so.

The entire country outside of the northeast was over the Patriots and TB12. Why are we acting like it was the just Bills fans?😂

I liked him again after he went to Tampa.😂

Ravens fans can't stop talking about 17 because they have an inferiority complex when it comes to Lamar vs Josh and they're still butthurt over the MVP last year.

Bills Fans don't like Kelce, but they don't obsess over him daily like the Ravens Fans do over Josh.  You must not be on X, lol.

This stat makes me think about the issues that it could bring to real football fans…And what I mean by football fans is those of us who like the replay analysis and breakdown of why plays worked or did not work.

If the draw to the sport is not about the sport itself but due to the off-field nonsense then we will be force fed information during the games about the off field nonsense.

I, for one, do not want to know a darn thing about anyone’s life outside the sport.   I simply do not care.   But we are forced to watch fluff pieces about the players all the time.

What the heck do I care that the middle linebacker also plays the harmonica to senior citizens while delivering crocheted slippers he made himself while also getting his holistic incense degree from Guatemala University on line.

My wife isn't a Swiftie but she reads what the Swifties are saying and they were all crying about the hit Bishop laid on Kelce, which was perfectly legal. They are generally clueless about the rules and the mechanics of football.

Saw Kelce's Podcast.  He talked about the game.  Said Bishop hit knocked the wind out of him.  He was very magnamous about the environment and the game.

Chiefs are different from the Brady/Belihick Patriots though...

First of all, the Chiefs have never felt "unbeatable" the way NE did. The Patriots almost never lost the "big games"

NE also didn't get blown out in Super Bowls twice in a handful of years.

Chiefs win a ton and have 3 rings but also got curb stomped twice in the SB, which is much different from losing a couple hard fought upsets in the SB by a few points.

NE was also much more hateable. It often felt like they were sneaking out the back door with a win. And it always went their way.

Chargers playoff game (Brady throws the game ending INT then the dumbass Chargers DB fumbles the ball instead of just going down)

Ravens playoff game (can't move the ball then suddenly Belichick dials up some obscure dubiously legal formation that the Ravens cannot stop)

Chiefs AFC Title game (Brady throw the game ending INT but a dumbass Chiefs DL was lined up Offside)

Not to mention pass interference calls that would make Mahomes blush. Spying on other team's locker rooms (allegedly), stealing signals, opposing team's communications always were spotty in Foxborough, and on and on

Let us not forget the dark reign of the Patriots as we pursue our dislike for KC. NE was and embraced being the Evil Empire that broke hearts and stole souls. It made them such an incredible villain, and the Super Bowls they lost were some of the most fun games I have ever watched.

KC is Manning's Colts if Brady played a decade earlier.

The 30.8 million viewers of a regular season football game outdrew Game 7 of the World Series, and that doesn’t surprise me at all.

Completely agree. Reading that, I felt that was a crap statement as America's Team generally means they have a large plurality of fans. However, to follow the Cowgirls model, when they were considered America's Team, much of it was because almost no one had a "I don't care" about them attitude, those that weren't Cowgirl fans were mostly Cowgirl haters. From that aspect, I think the Chefs may be getting there.

Definitely a crap statement!

It was also a result of no cable at the time and Cowboys being really good for a long period and always being on the few TV channels we did have.  I have a buddy that grew up in rural Alaska and he became a diehard Cowboys fans because thats pretty much the only team he consistently got to see.

Yep. Yet every ramp-up to the Super Bowl has multiple human-interest stories (usually both teams) about a kid raised by his single grandmother living in a 1 bedroom house with his 27 siblings. They need the 2 weeks of filler.

Wow!

US viewership for Game 7 of the World Series was 33.1 million

I heard different numbers, so I looked and found this:

AI Overview

Game 7 of the 2025 World Series averaged 51 million viewers combined across the U.S., Canada, and Japan, making it the most-watched MLB game in 34 years. The U.S. alone saw an average of 27.3 million viewers on Fox, with viewership peaking at 31.5 million. Japan contributed 12 million viewers to the total, while Canada added 11.6 million viewers across its French and English broadcasts.

The NFL is a monster when it comes to ratings.

I watched with the sound off.  I've had enough of Romo. Unfortunately, I'll have to listen to him this week. At the bar in Tampa to watch the Bills side by side with the Bucs vs Pats.

don't worry it'll be romo and nance glazing mahomes while he's not even in the stadium

I’m going to give Romo credit for calling out the refs on more than one call against the Bills. He wasn’t afraid not say “I just didn’t see a penalty there.”  He later came out and said the Chiefs got the short end of the stick on one play, but I like a guy who’s willing to call it as he sees it.

Booger McFarland has never recovered in my eyes for insisting it was an illegal blindside block against Cody Ford in the playoffs. The same play the league later apologized for. Booger is a moron.

Allen certainly has his share of haters, mainly B-more fans I would say.  Good lord...on X there's a massive contingent of Ravens fans who have 17 living rent free in their heads on a daily basis.  But you're right though. There's lots of people who don't necessarily like the Bills, but enjoy watching Josh Allen.

I think it's fair to say there is a vocal minority of Ravens fans who like to trash Josh Allen, but nearly every fan I know has a lot of respect for him, saying Allen is a big-time player, while worrying that Lamar won't ever rise to the occasion.

Maybe, but I'd stay off X if you want to keep that opinion. LOL
