But Carolina isn't a bad team. They've got a winning record. And that Falcons team that slapped us around got shut out by them 30-0.

I know we have a good Team but sometimes it just feels like we don't go the extra mile to be better. How is it that Philly for example always makes moves to try to be better?

I know you’re talking about more than just this latest trade, but in no way, shape, or form does Jaire Alexander make the Eagles any better. I’d the Bills had traded for him there would be a thread 25 pages long talking about how terrible that move was

Roseman is always very active: He also has an owner who is willing to manipulate the cap to its fullest extent, upfront cash outlays be damned. If you have that, the cap is meaningless in the short term. But there will be hell to pay in 2030.

I think a big reason is the eagles draft BPA.  They just sit back and let the best players fall to them, and take them.  They don’t reach for WRs (Coleman) or Safety (Bishop) or CBs (Elam) because it’s a need.  
 

Seriously, go back the last 4-5 years and check out how good the eagles and lions have drafted.  The Rams too but they trade a lot of picks.  Our drafting by comparison isn’t close, and I think that’s the main reason we can’t get over the hump.
