Captain_Quint Posted 8 hours ago Posted 8 hours ago If the logic holds true, then we should come out this week sharp, and have a hell of a first half. Who is confident that this will happen? Quote

They looked like a team coming off their bye and the Bills defense especially started playing way better in the second half after they adjusted to what I'm sure some wrinkles they were able to add during the bye and two weeks to prepare for the Bills. Feels like massively important context Wait til people learn the Patriots will be coming off their bye week when the play us in Foxboro 1 2 Quote

I'm sure they mentioned it on the broadcast, but I didn't hear it obviously Quote

So tired of the Pats hype already. I have zero worries about that team sweeping us. The bye won't make a difference. 1 Quote
Goin Breakdown Posted 7 hours ago Posted 7 hours ago Although I do sincerely appreciate the optimism, I think most knew they were coming off their bye week and we lost. Let's hope for better as the season progresses. Go Bills! Quote
transient Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago 🤔… it’s all so clear now. Only a well rested team could make the Bills continually shoot themselves in the foot like that. What an amazing gameplan to take away Cook by having Brady inexplicably limit him to 17 carries despite the fact he was averaging 5+ yds per carry and had 37 yds on 5 rushes the first drive of the second half to propel the Bills to their only points of the half. Getting the Bills to only give him 4 more touches the rest of the game in what was mostly a 1 score game was masterful by the Falcons. And on offense, convincing the Bills that tackling Robinson and covering receivers on 3rd down were against the rules… ~~chef’s kiss~~ offensive strategy masterpiece. 1 Quote
Richard Noggin Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago Lotta focus on the defense, which is fine. But without being MORE focused on the offense? The defense is what it is: mediocre. There will be bad games, we know, and there will be really bad games. And a few okay games. The D isn't the most critical branch of the Bills. The offense is. As they go, we go. -Would be nice if the defense could pick up the offense now and again, but didn't they do that in the 1st half against New England? And didn't they kind of do that in the 2nd half against Atlanta? Neither offense ran away with it, despite some chunky gains and clustered scores. It was the Bills offense that failed more impactfully. In my opinion. Quote
