Not that want to be balanced but they WANT to be a running team. It's crazy. Crazy and also bad to watch. These guys have outsmarted themselves. 1 Quote
QB Bills Posted Thursday at 03:14 PM Posted Thursday at 03:14 PM This is all McDermott, imo. Brady has said on multiple occasions that its a Josh Allen offense and everything should run through him. McDermott only ever says that that they need to be multidimensional. In theory that sounds logical, but reading between the lines, I believe he wants the offense to be more conservative and utilize the run game more. He's the kind of guy that seems to prefer a 7 yard run to an 8 yard pass. Its old football and it sucks we have one of these dinosaurs in charge when we have the best player in the league at the most important position. Additionally, for a head coach and a star QB who have been together for 8 years, it doesn't strike me that Allen and McDermott are all that close. If Allen had a more cut-throat personality, I have to believe he'd have pushed McDermott out a long time ago. I firmly believe that McDermott has already stolen at least one super bowl from this franchise (13 seconds) and perhaps a few more. He's a drought-level coach, possibly worse, that has been saved countless times by a freakshow at QB and a clueless owner who has far less football knowledge than the average TBD poster. 2 1 Quote

To elaborate on the point I said above, They have turned Josh into more or less a game manager. And I always said Josh needs at least 30 passing attempts per game. So I did some digging for his pass attempts this year vs Mahomes. Josh- 4/6 games has under 30 passing attempts per game. Mahomes only has 1, and that number was 29 in that game. We have a top 3 QB in the nfl and we build an offence for him to average like 26-28 pass attempts per game. It's just unacceptable in my opinion to build a running offence around maybe the best QB in the game. No, what's unacceptable is not to use the running back who averages like 5 to 6 yards every time he touches the ball, when you are going to go run heavy. Quote
zow2 Posted yesterday at 03:37 AM Posted yesterday at 03:37 AM If you wanted to see what a very good pocket passer looks like that was Joe Flacco tonight. Josh is not a pocket QB, that’s not his specialty so they should stop forcing him to be one. Quote

Close your eyes and imagine a team where Andy Reid is Josh's HC. All the motion, misdirection, speed receivers. It's a terrifying thought to think how dominant he'd be. Now open your eyes and stare at McD clapping...🤮. 2 Quote
