Freak-O Posted Thursday at 11:24 PM Posted Thursday at 11:24 PM 32 teams are trying to win every season. We’re doing much better than almost all of them. No team, coach or organisation is perfect. 1 1 Quote
Maynard Posted yesterday at 01:58 AM Posted yesterday at 01:58 AM Yes, most likely. I’d rather have an option for Beano. Quote

No team, coach or organisation is perfect. Sorry but that's not good enough with an elite QB. It just isn't. Especially when they have not even made the SB. McDermott's specialty is defense. Yet, his defenses consistently give up 30 points in postseason losses. Teams like New England, Chiefs, and Eagles would have fired him by now. 4 1 2 2 2 Quote

Negan Posted 15 hours ago Posted 15 hours ago (edited) Sean Payton should be the Bills HC. McDermott should have been fired the second after 13 seconds. But we're stuck with McGoofy. Edited 15 hours ago by Negan 2 3 Quote

None that I've heard mention seem like realistic options when people talk about trading for McVey or getting Mike Shanahan. Sure there might be someone but when hear to other HC candidates none thrill me. Quote

Get a grip. no different than last year after the losses to baltimore and houston. So exactly what is it that stands out about Mcdermott and Beane over the past eight years that tells you they can get it done. 1 2 Quote

Then they got healthy and found their identity in the run game. The previous year they made the change to brady and he leaned on the run game more and they went on a run after the miserable loss to denver. No matter how bad the losses were these last two weeks this is still a good team with one of the best players in the league at quarterback. I have faith they will figure it out and play well. Quote
Lfod Posted 9 hours ago Posted 9 hours ago (edited) I am on record that I am a McDermott loyalists until a serious multi season collapse. I would rather not roll the dice on a new HC. l will take close but no cigar over trying to see if the grass is greener. That is just my opinion. People think McDermott is holding Josh back but for all you know he might be rolling out the red carpet and staying out of the way until his hand is forced like with Dorsey. I think McDermott used Daboll to tune Josh up and then let him roll with the no name OCs after because that is what Josh wanted. I have always wondered why with possibly the top QB in the NFL we haven't tried to poach a brilliant mind. So when the offense stalls to much that is when McDermott will fire the OC to wake Josh up. Players have died and come back to life with McDermott. I can't be convinced to not have some loyalty for what he's done. Edited 9 hours ago by Lfod Quote

When in the history of the NFL has a QB of Allen's caliber gone on a long streak of missing the playoffs? Josh is a buoy, you see. We're going to make the playoffs with him no matter who is the coach. The question is more, which GM will give him the talent to win in the playoffs? Which coach will be able to match wits against playoff winners like Andy Reid, Spags, Fangio, etc? It took me awhile to get to finding a new GM and coach, but I’m there now , and really after 13 seconds should have been it. KC is still the big brother in the AFC and I think we took a step back further than we were. I don’t have faith in our GM or coach to pass KC, Allen and Mahomes cancel each other out, so it comes down to who’s roster is better, Quote

That seals it. Make McDermott coach for life and when he retires his kids get the gig. Im so psyched to watch Allens career get wasted by substandard drafting and boneheaded coaching mistakes that will get you beat by the best teams in the league everytime. Lets not forget the 35 points a game our so called defensive coaches defense has given up to KC in the playoffs. Weird how Philly made KCs offense look stupid two weeks later in the Superbowl last year. Edited 7 hours ago by Rousseauisnoschmo Add more info 1 2 Quote
