The Bills have their future and present player on the roster to start at safety.  And I have been screaming about it since training camp started.  And that is Jordan Hancock..

 

The guy showed he can play in the preseason..  His upside is much better than anyone the Bills have had since Poyer and Hyde in their prime.  He needs to start ahead of Bishop.  And have Poyer start ahead of Rapp.  

 

Could someone define for me what the "Bills Culture" even is?  I know CJ Gardner Johnson has gone through many teams.  And he really isn't that good watching his game.  But is the narrative that there are certain types of players we shy away from for reasons that have nothing to do with their on field play?

I agree with the following caveat - Hancock and Bishop need to be the starters.  They will make mistakes but the upside is great.  Bishop has had the bad luck of missing tackles in prime time for all to see.  But he has played much better then Rapp and probably as good as Johnson.

A lot of guys can't tackle Bijion Robinson.  At least Cole took the correct angle and was there to make the attempt. Just like when guys get "posterized" attempting to block dunks; I don't want them to stop trying to make the play just because they failed.

Last night I saw both Steelers and Bengals safety's get blown up trying to tackle RB's just as bad as Bishop.

thank you for saying this. i watch kids playing pick up basketball in our cul de sac and see them not wanting to get ducked on and literally get out of the way rather than accept the charge and get dunked on. this whole overreaction nonsense is annoying and that angry hits guy is part of the problem. lets recognize this angry hit by this Titans player who is 6'6" 280 lbs. returning a pick on a 5'10 WR... not mentioning his team is down 27 and it was a backup qb and wr.

I agree that Hancock needs to be the answer for Rapp. Unfortunately I'm afraid that there's this ungodly amount of blind love for T-Rapp. 

I'm hoping they start to get him some work, like they were doing with Strong.

Max also needs to take over for Tre White. Baptism by fire, live with the results. Better to figure this out sooner than later. We don't need another 3 year Elam experiment.
