The concussions last year really have impacted Rapp and Benford I think. Neither really care it seems. 1 hour ago, YodaMan79 said: He’s full-blown crazy, not just a diva. I’m all for the front office taking calculated risks to add talent, but this one gives me pause. The Eagles are great at managing big personalities and have strong veteran leadership, and even they passed after winning a Super Bowl. No doubt he makes plays, but in his mind he’s better than Ed Reed and Steve Atwater combined. When he’s locked in and in sync, he’s absolutely a difference-maker… but that’s a big “when.” Then how about clear glasses boy coach him. A little crazy might be what we need now. Quote

I’d like to think that the Bills locker room would have been strong enough to survive 1/2 a year of him. If they aren’t, that’s a problem. They are so bad there, I think that the gamble would have been worth it. At the same time, it’s not the end of the world. He’s fine. He’s not Ed Reed in his prime. The Bills have their future and present player on the roster to start at safety. And I have been screaming about it since training camp started. And that is Jordan Hancock.. The guy showed he can play in the preseason.. His upside is much better than anyone the Bills have had since Poyer and Hyde in their prime. He needs to start ahead of Bishop. And have Poyer start ahead of Rapp. Could someone define for me what the "Bills Culture" even is? I know CJ Gardner Johnson has gone through many teams. And he really isn't that good watching his game. But is the narrative that there are certain types of players we shy away from for reasons that have nothing to do with their on field play? Quote

I agree with the following caveat - Hancock and Bishop need to be the starters. They will make mistakes but the upside is great. Bishop has had the bad luck of missing tackles in prime time for all to see. But he has played much better then Rapp and probably as good as Johnson. Quote

A lot of guys can't tackle Bijion Robinson. At least Cole took the correct angle and was there to make the attempt. Just like when guys get "posterized" attempting to block dunks; I don't want them to stop trying to make the play just because they failed. 3 2 Quote

Last night I saw both Steelers and Bengals safety's get blown up trying to tackle RB's just as bad as Bishop. 1 Quote

Allen2Moulds Posted 6 hours ago Posted 6 hours ago I agree that Hancock needs to be the answer for Rapp. Unfortunately I'm afraid that there's this ungodly amount of blind love for T-Rapp. I'm hoping they start to get him some work, like they were doing with Strong. Max also needs to take over for Tre White. Baptism by fire, live with the results. Better to figure this out sooner than later. We don't need another 3 year Elam experiment. Quote
