Jags as an 11-6 WC will get in the playoffs over the Chiefs.  The likelihood they finish with that record is high especially if the Jags had won today.  Needing to get only 6 more wins.

Today:  The Jags - 13 PENALTIES FOR 119 yards - many of which happened at important times.

At 14-0 they called back a Jags punt return TD.

It spiraled from there.  This score did not indicate how close it was into halftime and how much penalties swung this game.

The Rams - 5 penalties for 45 yards.

Bring back replacement refs. I’m only half joking. With those guys at least both teams got screwed. I feel the current refs have an agenda against one of the two teams every week.

The league will never give up their ability to steer outcomes through officiating.  Their priority isn’t fair games it’s maximizing profits.  Some teams/storylines bring more to the table than others everyone that has watched the NFL for a while knows this by now.  It’s not just Buffalo look at Rodgers and Brees who only got two SB appearances while playing out of the weak NFC.  Look at Cam’s Panthers or Rivers/Tomlinson’s chargers.  The evidence is everywhere.

This is like the adult version of finding out pro wrestling is fake.

On the flip side, people keep saying Santa Claus isn't real. That's not possible. I still get presents every year. He has to be real.

It's pretty sad that most people still don't think the games are rigged. They watch the KC-Lions game and say, "Well, maybe KC just played a clean game and maybe the refs realized minutes after the Lions TD that they saw a motion penalty." Goodell and his rich buddies must just laugh. They're counting on fans' gullibility and they're not disappointed.

yes, i’m sure goodell is willing to risk sports bribery indictments, wire-fraud charges, conspiracy counts, racketeering investigations and class-action lawsuits from every fan, gambler, and broadcast partner in america, all so that the league’s 32 billioniare owners can secretly agree to tilt a few holding calls in favor of the kansas city chiefs, so they can go to an afc title game or beyond for an eighth straight time. sounds totally plausible.

maybe eventually they'll get really creative and make the Jets, Giants or Cowboys relevant for the first time in a decade too.

It would be really good for your well being if you gave up the NFL, and considered the Hallmark Channel for your entertainment needs.

I agree. It’s obvious by now…the evidence is everywhere.

I dont understand.

If the game is rigged how come the Chiefs lost the SuperBowl?

Also if you conspiracy people really think the game is fixed, why do you keep watching? If you really belive what you post then have some conviction and stop watching NFL.

If the Bills falter and go int the toilet I will be doing just that.  The college game is better:  more interesting and entertaining.  Heck, even High School football is more fun. Today's crap-fest of games has become the norm as undermanned, injury riddled rosters pretend to play "pro" football.

My beef with college football was the whacked out "playoff" system but they're close to solving that. My guess is that we're within a couple of years of a 16 team college football playoff field.

Well, if you think it's wonderful watching "student athletes" play AAA football for the highest bidder a year or two at a time, then I guess you're right.

I am under no illusions that modern big time college football involves "student athletes".  At minimum they are semipro players. My only point is that the quality of the college football is better then in the NFL.  Not only are the games better but are often more exciting and feature huge rosters that lessons the devastation of injuries.

Sorry but today was just another in a long line of Sunday's in which the NFL games sucked.  I notice it more on weekends the Bills don't play as I'm not that invested in the outcome of these other games and just want to relax and watch some good football.  On most Friday & Saturday's I can do just that with college football but it's a rare Sunday that the NFL delivers the goods.

Like I said, sad. Goodell would be pleased. Tell me, what would it take for you to agree that some games, such as key ones played by KC, are fixed? Two TDs overturned by a call from NY? Ten? Maybe automatic PI calls on every Mahomes incomplete? Or would you even then deny what you're seeing? If so, you should check out another league where everything is also completely, 100% honest: the WWE.

Thanks, I'll try it. And as I recommended to beebe, you might try the WWE for your own entertainment needs. It's real!
