Way too early Playoff picture

Anything can happen but you are overestimating them. They lost to Steelers and Raiders managing to score grand total of 27 points combined. Diggs won't play like this every day. Maye won't play like this every day. Even with our 3 turnovers, we win that game 8 out of 10 times. They were good and lucky.

 

We win 13+, they win 11 at best. 

 

Oh and we won't lose to them again this year.

I tend to agree with everything you said here but I believe in Vrabel and it's easy to flush that week 1 loss when you consider it was their first game under a totally new coaching staff. They've been getting better and better since then so I'm inclined to believe that the team we saw the last two weeks is closer to the truth. That team still has flaws and will probably lose a couple games they shouldn't, but then again you could say that word for word about the Bills and not sound crazy.

Agreed. I am not saying they are a 7-8 win team. They are solid and on the rise. I just think we are way better this year and it will show. They will lose some games which you'd consider easy wins for them after SNF.

I think the Pats drop one of the next 3 "easy" ones they have.  

 

If not, they have turned a corner, and are a legit concern - though if we're healthy, I can't see us getting swept by them. They needed us to have a really bad, sloppy game w/ some weird reffing to pull it out this past weekend.  I don't see that happening twice.  

 

But we'd have to basically keep pace w/ them otherwise, and we've got Chiefs & Eagles.

What’s absolutely wild about this is already the season is coming up to the halfway point, and the Chiefs and Ravens would not be in the playoffs if they started today. A couple weeks into the season that wouldn’t be a huge deal…but week 8?  That’s a little concerning.

 

The Steelers are there by default, only 1 team from the North gets in, probably the Steelers and they’ll get knocked out Wildcard Weekend.

 

I don’t believe anyone there except the Bills are a true top 5 contender.  Indy, while they’ve been impressive beating up on lesser teams, have a brutal schedule soon and will take a bunch of L’s.

 

Basically all the Bills need to do is get a win back from NE and 1st will be theirs.

The NFL is not keeping the Ravens or the Chiefs both out of the playoffs. Maybe the Ravens if Lamar keeps pulling this boo boo baby crap, but the Chiefs are not going to miss the playoffs in the NFL will make it so

Ravens are not making it, the hole is too deep at this point and they’ll still have more injuries occur as there’s little over half a season to go still.

 

I think the Chiefs will make it only because the Chargers, Jaguars and Broncos are pretenders.  They’ll pass at least one of those teams in the standings.

Patriots don't have a shot yet. They have a balanced efficient team but they have a few pieces missing that will be exposed against top defenses

The safest bet in the NFL is the Chiefs to the super bowl and they're not even in the playoffs at this point. That's not because they're simply good enough and anyone naive enough to believe that is blind. 

 

They get the benefit of a lot of calls whether rigged or not.

If the league were really rigged, then wouldn't the NFL want the Giants or Bears back in the Super Bowl. Two big market teams who have been around forever. What about the Jets a big market NYC area team. First time back in the Super Bowl since 1969. How about the Cowboys with the whole "America's team" angle. No offense to the Chiefs but these teams would draw better ratings for the league being big market teams which the Chiefs are not.

I think it's clear and obvious the last few years the NFL wanted the Chiefs in. Taylor Swift was raking in major dough for them and the NFL has been milking that for all it's worth
