1st and 3rd for Olave and Shaheed?

They ain't parting with both. I dunno how that'd work unless they wanted someone sent back.

And nobody say "Samuel" lol dude has 280yds and 2 tds in a Bills jersey @ $10M.

If somebody takes Samuel well be pitching in extra draft capital to absorb bad cash.... and most certainly wont be the saints

We need to go all in. Burrow hurt, Ravens 1-4, Chiefs as beatable as they ever been. It’s time to start taking future draft picks and make some moves for some dudes.

If I’m Beane, the time is now. He’s got to deviate from the build from within. Will we ever get another year with a down Ravens, Chiefs, Bengals and a healthy Josh? Take a chance on acquiring legit talent right now

Dudes, a new CB won’t change a darn thing.  Same result.  White is a popular whipping boy today, but he wasn’t any worse than the average CB2 in the league would be with no pass rush, and bend but don’t break scheme, and going against Diggs that night.

what we need is a WR who can get open and make contested catches and beat the occasional double coverage.  Unfortunately we aren’t getting that at the trade deadline.

This.

Do we forget all the games where our DB's play so far off the line of scrimmage that guys like Burrow and Mahomes just abuse us over and over?

It's the system more than it's a Tre White problem...although I agree that the guy is on his last legs

The loss last night and even the previous wins highlight we need a WR and S. Rapp and Bishop are not cutting it. Go get CJ Gardner-Johnson and best of the unhappy WR out there. As we saw even with an ineffective Amari Cooper, he still drew some attention. The current group does not have any one guy that does that.

....and also trade Seattle a 3rd for Tariq Woolen. Watching Bishop spin around players ankles like a hoola hoop isn't even funny anymore.

our biggest needs

corner

safety

outside plus player at WR.

we have the rookie who hopefully recovers at CB, i thought we had a rookie who might be able to play safety for rapp, but maybe not, and my one issue with going in for a WR is it will give brady ammo to get out of our dominating formations which he already likes to avoid (multiple TE/backs, few or no WR).

based on that, if we can get a JAG at corner for cheap we should because it's just too big of a hole, if we can get a plus safety for cheap that's another slam dunk, and i'd love to have a guy like brown or someone to light it up outside, i don't think that's possible.

Completely agree.

We have a jump start on the 1.  Our main rivals look like crap.   We are in Allen's second window.

Beane had BETTER be busy right now.  THIS is where you make a Von signing. (but someone better/more reliable than Von).

I'd like to think Davis can be used as a deep threat if need be.

Go out an bring in the best difference maker on defense you can find.  LB, DE, CB.

ALL IN.  NOW IS TIME.

I actually like our D Line.  The back 7 is a mess but I’m not wasting any more resources on a McDermott defense.  Trade for a young talented WR like Olave.  Even if it doesn’t get is over the hump this year, a #1 WR will be needed next year for a new regime.  Get a head start.  Give New Orleans Coleman plus a 2nd rounder.

Is Olave on the market? that would be sweeeet

agree with this 100%.  unfortunately it's a little hard to do that when a team is up against the cap like the Bills are.  But people like to say the cap isn't real and can always be manipulated, so maybe??

You do everything you can the next 3-5 years. Push the cap hits out in the distance. When Allen is done you take the lumps for a couple years. Get an early pick to grab a QB and start the cycle over.

Not a trade, but go get me Stephon Gilmore to

run at CB2 this season. Then sprinkle in Hairston when he’s ready. While old, Gilmore can play man and tackles.

Speaking of tackling, go get me another LB, and I don’t care if it’s some mid guy in FA. Tackling is foundational and doesn’t require anything elite. Just a desire and want to. Wrap the F up. We’ve been so maddeningly poor at tackling this year. So frustrating. Hopefully, Shaq can fix it, but he’s basically just Carolina’s version of Milano. Hurt all the time.

Like others have said, the need here with respect to a trade is receiver. Go get one of these guys disgruntled or rumored to be available. Olave, Shaheed, Addison, Moore, or AJ Brown. Enough with this patchwork unit that can’t separate. Josh deserves better and this is two years now of a terrible receiver room. Bunch of twos, threes, and fours, masquerading as ones, twos, and threes. It’s embarrassing with an MVP at QB. Doesn’t have to be this hard.

Im all about Addison, but one of these need to be the move.  Figure out the fit and make an offer they cant say no to.  Addison team controlled for 2 years after this year, $2.5M cap hit if acquired this week.  Full route tree, plays like Diggs.  Hes proli ready to be a #1 and not play second fiddle, and get a real QB.  Theres a little diva kicking around but nowhere near the amount thats untenable.  Addison can pair up with Josh the rest of his career pretty much, im absolutely fine paying him whatever he wants when its time.  Kid has been a stud at Pitt, USC and Minny.  Let the guy help us get a ring!! Minny might not be ready now, but theyve already kicked it around last year, they cant pay him, and a few more weeks closer to deadline with Wentz and theyll be ready to move some pieces.

We should all be rooting against Minnesota every week!!!

All in would equate to who or what?

Im all for it but I can’t see any team trading their big names for what we need most to push this team to the crème de la crème of the league.

Funnily enough, we are in there right now. Just a few blemishes.

I would argue that last year was the most beatable the Chiefs have been. They will only get better by end of year, not to mention adding Rice in a couple weeks vs us. If we do not add either a top WR to boost the offense, or a number 2 DB to stabilize the D, Buffalo is in going to be in big trouble in playoffs.
