US Egg Posted August 31 Posted August 31 Joe Namath put the NFL on the front burner. The ‘70’s Cowboys brought the nation to the NFL table. The country has been stuffing their face with it ever since. 1 1 Quote

The man known for the earslap. They banned it because of him. One year in the 60’s, I can’t remember the exact year, he had 36 sacks in a 14 game season. Now they didn’t record them back then so it didn’t count, but some sports geek looked at every game and recorded 36 sacks. Football wasnt better back then, but it was different. What they could do then vs. now is night and day. 2 1 Quote

Let's Go Buffalo Posted September 1 Posted September 1 Thanks for the post, HOUSE. Lee Roy is another legend gone, but not forgotten. He was definitely a tackling machine, and whenever you needed a stop on defense, there he was. Thoughts and prayers for his family.....R.I.P. 1 Quote
