I have been waiting for prices to change for either the saints or bucs games.  Bucs game is cheaper but I prefer to come home and attend a game in late september and enjoy a real fall for the weekend as opposed to potential freezing rain or worse in november.

Prices are crazy so far.

You can thank ‘Ticketbastard’, for creating this artificial market!

Its the last season at old Highmark and the team is crushing it/coming off Josh Allen MVP season.

What do you expect?  STH to give their tickets away at face value?  Some ticket holders have eaten costs for years when needing to re sell, its a sellers market now...

Ticketmastwr has nothing to do with it.  Its basic economics

Nope, no one selling in person outside  the gates anymore.

I’d say it’s unlikely to find tickets for $100 each (even in the 300s) unless you wait til riiiiiight before kickoff or even shortly after.

I always smirked when driving in and you would see the guy with the “I need tickets” sign on the shoulder, then 20-30 feet past him was the guy with the “I have tickets” sign.

Kind of weird to me how a small market team known for its rabid fan base has thousands of tickets for sale every week.

That is always a bummer to me.  Why not just attend the games?

Just speaking for myself, I am over 2.5 hrs drive away near Pittsburgh Pa and have had seasons for 20+ years.  Just cant make it to all games.

But yes, if I lived locally, I'd be at every single one.  Some ppl/brokers absolutely buy seasons with the plan to re sell and turn a profit.

I’m grateful for the resellers. It used to be you had to be online right as they went on sale and if you missed out, you missed out.

Years later I did have luck with scalpers out front but you never knew what you were getting until you got through the gate.

I expect tickets in the 300s to not be 400 dollars a piece when the other starting QB is Spencer Rattler.

Well don't buy them, or buy seasons next time.

Again its a sellers market, and its people trying to cash in where possible-- human behaviour to make as most profit as possible

I am not buying them. I have no problem not driving an hour to pay 800 dollars for tickets, 50 dollars in parking, and even more money for food for two people to attend a football game.    But in that same regard I dont want to hear people crying about PSLs at the new stadium then.   After all its just human behavior to try and make as much profit as possible.

100%, I am not one to cry about the PSL.

Just get ready for higher secondary than now.

It’s much worse than that.

“In practice, ticket brokers connect their proxies—either bought from a third party or rolled by themselves—to other bespoke ticketing-buying software that helps them actually manage tons of Ticketmaster accounts and tons of phone numbers at once. There are a host of ticket broker-specific internet browsers that allow brokers to open hundreds or thousands of browser tabs, which each have a browsing session tied to either a specific SIM card or to an IP proxy which can also be bought from third-party services. This allows brokers to power through Ticketmaster’s “Virtual Waiting Rooms” because a broker can have hundreds or thousands of independent browser sessions waiting as separate “people.” The SIM box (or a SIM proxy service) can then be set up in these bespoke browsers to automatically forward and submit Ticketmaster’s SMS two-factor authentication, which is supposedly designed to prevent scalpers from getting tickets.”

Watched a YouTube video on a report how they are legit a monopoly and force venues into a contract that essentially gifts them the rights to resale. Pretty shiesty if I do say say myself.

Can’t really avoid getting by them if you’re a regular attendee of any entertainment event.

So I see you bought the narrative fully without actually thinking about it...

Brokers are the worst.

Starting next season its going to suck even more than it does now

The problem isn't Spencer Rattler, the problem is Josh Allen.

We can go back to Doug Marrone and E.J. Manuel and there won't be a single complaint about TicketBastard.  Man we had it soooo good back then.

No narrative, Im a STH and know what the secondary market is willing to pay if I need to sell.

Again, basic economics.  If someone wants to complain about secondary prices, go buy Season Tickets then

They're manipulating the supply by buying a whole bunch of tickets and then trickling their release and they also set the price.

Like calling it basic economics tells me you've bought their narrative that it's fair competition...it's absolutely not

Lol, who is manipulating supply?

I was simply  commenting what STHs are doing with re sell opportunity
