Who just got blown out in the Super Bowl. Philly was able to score on every possession and get stops; we have to do the same

I get that reading comprehension isn't your strong suit.  I'm talking about Reid and Spagnuolo keeping McDermott out of the superbowl.  Philly has nothing to do with McDermott.

Who has never beaten Andy Reid. Not once.

I'll take my chances that the active coach with the most wins against Andy Reid (thought all regular season) finds a way to get one in the post season rather than banking on the guy who has never beaten him to beat him.

Sean Payton has 6 wins against Andy Reid FYI.

Okay. That wasn't on the stat I saw but I did think he must be up there somewhere. I remember a few of those Saints - Eagles battles.

With the exception of QB, the Eagles have a better team than the Bills.

This isn't McDermott related but check out these numbers.

LOL

.300 winning % (43-100) since 2015

100 losses! in 9 seasons 🥲

Double-digit average (11.1) losses per season

4.78 average wins per season 🤣🤣

The slumlord Donald Sterling of the NFL

A total embarrassment 😳

The above is the Jets record under Woody Johnson. Go Woody you are doing a great job.

They have Mike Tomlin as the 5th best coach in the NFL!!  Fifth!

And Stefanski ranked above McDermott!!

How can anyone take this analysis seriously?

Tomlin gets his high ranking for winning a Super Bowl and he also hasn't had a losing season his entire time coaching the Steelers. I am not saying he deserves to be 5th but the Super Bowl win and no losing seasons are why the media have him that ranked that high. With McDermott the media sees Allen as one of the best QBs in the game along with a good (NOT GREAT) roster and yet no Super Bowl appearances. The playoff failures are probably why the media has him ranked low.

Tomlin deserves some praise for being as consistent as he is. That said, he's a dinosaur when it comes to coaching. They haven't won a playoff game since 2016.

Stefaniski being ranked as high as he is insane too. He gets way too much credit for winning 4 games with Joe Flacco two years ago

Making the playoffs twice with 2 different QBs in Cleveland is as impressive as anything McDermott has ever done.

Unfortunately, he is being downgraded, because he has a super talented QB,  an all around better than average total team package, and not taken the Bills to the super bowl.  We know as Bill's fans a lot of things happened, reasons why they haven't made it to the big game, many of which were not McDermott's fault, but the head coach and the GM are always going take the blame.

They started 5 QB's in 2023, just Baker in 2020.  Really he made the playoffs with 6 different QB's.  2020 really stood out the most, fresh off the Hue Jackson 3-36-1, 1/2 season Greggo then the lost year of human buffoon Freddie Kitchens.  Beating down Pittsburgh then giving KC a handful.  That was an impressive turnaround.

I was really simplifying it because it’s not like there’s an elite franchise guy in Cleveland.

I still stand by it though. to make the playoffs multiple times, with different QBs, with that horrific franchise, in that division, is just as impressive as anything McD has done.

to take it one step further, if the Bills were in a division with the Steelers, Ravens and Bengals, we would have much less overall team success and McD would have probably been fired by now.

Take it a step further....

If Burrow doesn't go down in 2023, the Browns don't make the playoffs that year.

Lets also not forget McDermott made the playoffs with Tyrod Taylor.

If Miami and Jacksonville don’t implode week 18 in 2023, the Bills miss the playoffs. With Josh Allen at QB.

No one is forgetting the TT year. the point is that McD’s claim to fame is sneaking into the playoffs once with a crappy QB. Which is exactly what Stefanski has done.

not surprising though. Bills fans have an unhealthy attachment to that event. There was a hefty number who didn’t want to trade TT because “he broke the drought” and “who knows if the next QB is better, he could be worse!”

100% of them are still posting the exact same noise about McDermott.

I'd have fired him if they missed the playoffs in 2023 and I said as much after the Denver loss. Missing the playoffs with Josh Allen is fireable.

I wanted him gone after 13 seconds but I knew that wasn't going to happen as they had a great year despite that painful loss. I thought his seat would get hot after the blowout loss to the Bengals in the playoffs, but it didn't. At this point it would take a horrible season something like 7-10, 6-11 and maybe Terry thinks about making a change. Otherwise, I don't see him getting fired if the team keeps making the playoffs.

The Bills only beat the Dolphins in week 18 because they imploded?  Lets not look at it as we closed the season on a 5 game winning streak.

I mean, when a franchise QB and one of the best in the NFL like Joe Burrow goes down, that definitely changes the landscape.  Just like if Allen, Mahomes, Jackson etc....go down.

There is not a unhealthy obsession from anyone.  You pumping up Stefanski for doing it twice, I point out McDermott also made the playoffs with a bad QB.....now I'm attached to that event?  I mean talking up a coach with multiple posts, from another team with a career losing record AND on a Bills message board sounds more like an obsession to me.

Its not the same because Tyrod will not or ever will take you deep into the playoffs.
