By his final year, despite essentially the same number of targets per year, Diggs's production was in free fall.  In all, the Bills paid one of the worst playoff WR1s in league history 80 million to pad his stats during the season.  2 years after a huge (2nd highest WR guarantee behind only Hill) 4 year extension, he was widely excised from the the body Buffalo, the cancer that he was...

 

AB signing with the Bills would have been a bad thing.  There is no debating this.

That is the point of my question.  Bills were able to keep a lesser a-hole (and lesser WR) under control for 3 of his 4 years.  Maybe they would have gotten a solid year or 2 from AB.  Beane and McD were certainly not sharing your concerns about him when they were putting together a trade offer for discussion. 

 

Your question has been answered several times already.  There is nothing in AB's career to suggest that he'd have made an exception and been a good soldier with the Bills.  Remember, Josh wasn't a superstar in 2019.  Not that it would have mattered since he played with future HOF'ers Roethlisberger and Brady and still couldn't help getting himself removed from those teams.  

 

And the Bills certainly did share my concerns, hence the reason they didn't redo his deal and give him guaranteed money.  They basically made him a non-offer offer.

I thought you were joking.  Kind of like the "Tom Donahoe drank kids blood" thing years ago.

 

The guy's an ####### and no doubt suffering from CTE.  Something along the lines of what he's been alleged to have done was bound to happen.  I remember when my son came bounding into by bedroom one morning to tell me the Bills traded for him.  I groaned because I knew what would have followed.  Luckily the Bills insisted on no guaranteed money, which again to Brown was a no offer offer.

A "non offer"---lol.  Made up nonsense, clearly suggesting they were never interested (a typical doc fabrication).  The Bills wanted him.  Contract was the issue--if he had agreed to play out the contract as is, Beane would have traded 1sts for him.  If there was no interest, they would have told Rosenhaus when he first called.  

 

NE cut him after a (previous) sexual assault claim surfaced (after a single game)--he wasn't "playing with Brady" there, for all intents and purposes.  He had a cup of coffee.

 

And what in Diggs career in Minny did NOT suggest to you that he would meet the same end in Buffalo--pushed out the door for a mid pick and 30 million eaten?
