Imagine defining yourself as "hating" someone.  It does seem popular these days.  What are you going to do when the big beautiful orange tRump is gone?  Turn your ire to the next most popular hate-tee?  Do you have a top 10 list that you could share?

As you know, the next republican nominee for president will be referred to as “more dangerous/extreme than Trump”. The people that have settled in with their Trump obsession are likely to keep on rolling.

You're right, your mental state seems 100% stable.

Yeah, and Biden wasn't.  Or whoever was running the country from the shadows (it certainly wasn't Kamala).

But the argument being put forward is that only the US with B2 bombers and MOABs can take out the Iranian nuclear facility at Fordow and I'll sell you a bridge if you think Bibi isn't pushing Trump to do it.

I simply commented on a theory that US airplanes were in Iranian airspace and someone wondering if they were AWACS.

Frankly, I have strong doubts that any US airplanes were in Iranian airspace, but they certainly would not be AWACS.

Your post has nothing to do with mine.

Ok, no prob.

I do wonder if the B2's could actually take out the nuclear site. Any thoughts on how this ends?

Ending the Iranian regime would be a great thing for humanity, but I just don't see how that gets achieved

Biden never would have allowed it to get this far. Trump's is just so incompetent

I'm a 43 year old, left leaning Trump hater. I'm not buying what Benji is selling, but the Iranian regime, as I said, is among the worst in the world. I feel for those people and know a ton of them who have come here, most with family still in Tehran, and yet they still support what is happening from Israel after watching their freedoms reduced to something out of the Middle Ages under this regime.

It is true that the future without Khamenei is uncertain, but it is just as true that the future with him is too. I don't trust Israel, but if these actions can help give those people a chance, then I'm hopeful something good can come from this.

I also genuinely do not think Israel has any interest in attacking energy assets that would impact the global system. They have little support for this war as it is, and doing so would all but eliminate it. If you think that is the case, so be it.

dude I have been Praying about this situation from the get go.  We both know people from that part of the world in real life. This makes what we are seeing focused more . At least for me because it is Personal. Think of our loved ones loved ones over there. Lord have  mercy

Thank you for your input here. I'm reading intently.  Not raging as I am accused of sometimes doing. Calmly and Serious as a heart attack I  say I want to see CHANGE for the regime for those family members of people we know.

War is ugly I hate it, But Iran regime isn't to be trusted at all whatsoever.  This is historical stuff.

Lord have mercy.

I really don't know what to expect from the Trump obsessed.  How will the people who have adorned their homes and cars with cheap Trump merch adapt in a post Trump world? And the businesses slinging Trump merch, what will they do?  There are three Trump Burger locations in the houston area.  Are they going to become De Santis Burger's or Marjorie Taylor Green Burgers?  And then theres the scammers with their Trump NFTs and Trump Coin and Melania Coin.  You cannot rebrand a crpyto currency.  The Trump obsessed have based their entire personality on the guy.   They do not care about issues its all a cult of personality.  Can they just re-attach to the next MAGA heir apparent and deify a pretender?  I expect they will completely remove themselves from politics and mainstream society at large.  I don't see how they reintegrate.  Its a truly strange and embarrassing condition.

I think the use of our 30,000 lb bomb is being overplayed by the press as some magic bullet solution to this.

I read a detailed report that went into great detail on the Iranian nuc program and how difficult it would be to eliminate with the underground sites and nation wide dispersal, using standard military strikes.

That was written before it became obvious that Iran's air defense is gone, wo we now would have freedom to operate with some exceptions.

Once the IAEA exposed the non compliance of Iran in their May 31 report, the starting piston was fired.

The Israelis have been masterful in not only eliminating a good deal of the infrastructure, but in terminating a great deal of IRGC and other leadership.

I don't know how it ends, but I would assert that if any hostile actions are taken against US forces or international shipping in the Gulf or Strait, it's going to be game on for the US and catastrophic for the Iranian regime.

And Biden was a part of the administration that paid Iran billions to “not” pursue nuclear weapons but could still build the missiles pummeling Israel today.

A deal they immediately broke.

A deal set to expire this year.

Trump in 2015 called it the worst deal ever.

I’m finding it hard to see why it was ever agreed to in the first place.

This isn’t Obama’s fault.  He just decided the superpower of the Middle East should be Iran.

Which is itself, meddling.  Intervention.  Adventures in the Middle East.

Trump brought us the Abraham Accords.  The most significant step toward peace probably ever, between Israel and its neighbors.

But sure he doesn’t know what he’s doing.

Or it makes Trump the TACO man.  Kind of like his stance on tariffs.  And the border wall.  And repeal and replace.  So much for walk softly and carry a big stick.  Now it's wear a diaper, be a fake tough guy, and don't get anything done.

Looks like we can add farm workers to this list now, too.  This is what happens in an outrage-driven movement like MAGA.  All those illegals who are criminals they carry in about?  Turns out there aren’t that many.  And the ones who fall in that category typically were and are expeditiously deported under long-standing law.  Which is why to meet his deportation quota Trump took to things like deporting migrant labor.  Which in turn screwed up the farming industry.  Which in turn caused him to go TACO again.

It’s weird.  I tend to agree with you.  They probably fade back to where they are before.  But maybe they stay involved and splinter.  Some may go to a Bernie candidate.  Others may double down on someone like Tom Cotton.  It’s hard to say,

Ultimately I think it ends with Israeli incursion and limited boots on ground to take care of the mountain nuke site.  In the meantime they’re going to keep destroying infrastructure needed to repel such an incursion, and take the chance to turkey shoot what they can with a weakened historical nemesis.
