Draconator Posted yesterday at 07:22 PM Posted yesterday at 07:22 PM Ted Reinhart of Gamalon fame also deserves recognition. In 1973, Ted's band at the time was covering Genesis. The actual band Genesis thought it was super cool that a US band was covering their music, so they all flew to Buffalo to see the band. The band, and especially Phil Collins was super impressed with Ted. In 1977 when Phil took over lead singing duties, Phil reached out to Ted to see if he had any interest in becoming Genesis' full time touring drummer. Ted turned it down as he didn't want to spend his whole life touring. So they offered the gig to the next guy on their list, Chester Thompson. 3 Quote

That is the kind of choice that seriously alters your life, but it’s usually best to be true to yourself. Quote

I didn't know Ted personally, but he became a world wide respected jazz fusion drummer with Gamalon and other projects. Unfortunately Ted passed away in 2015 from a small plane crash. Just YouTube Ted Reinhert Gamalon. Edited 23 hours ago by Draconator 1 Quote

They don't belong. Quote

BillsFanNC Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago Great Train Robbery was a band with a pretty large following. The camera man here is focused more on the young ladies upfront than the band, which is nice. Went to many shows at the ICON but not this one. I did catch BNL there in '92. The '92 BNL show at the ICON was a great sounding much sought after bootleg back in the day, if you were lucky enough to get an early gen cassette transfer. With YouTube these things are now readily available. Quote
