JerseyBills Posted Tuesday at 11:36 PM Posted Tuesday at 11:36 PM (edited)  Haven't watched, just got alert and wanted to share..  These are usually 🔥, so everybody enjoy , will post back with any opinions. Go Bills  Edit - Really good watch as usual, Beane sounds like he loved the value for each pick and is confident, outside looking in it looks like him and his team hit a HR.  Could have multiple guys making an impact on Sunday and don't forget we got guys like Solomon , Carter and Bishop that could and should take a solid year 2 leap   Edited 6 hours ago by JerseyBills 8 6 Quote

jkeerie Posted Tuesday at 11:49 PM Posted Tuesday at 11:49 PM Very obvious, McD really wanted Hairston! "We gotta get this guy." And he pointed out teams that needed a corner picking before Buffalo. 2 Quote
JerseyBills Posted Tuesday at 11:53 PM Author Posted Tuesday at 11:53 PM (edited) * TJ Sanders would've been in consideration at 30 if Max was picked, picked 11 picks later, could be immense value  *Hancock getting talked up about his versatility and apparently one of the most underrated players in all the draft, he'll definitely have alot of opportunities at slot and safety in practice Edited yesterday at 12:20 AM by JerseyBills 3 Quote

GETTOTHE50 Posted yesterday at 12:20 AM Posted yesterday at 12:20 AM Beane and co had a plan and executed it. They knew where players would be drafted and what they wanted or could get get. Really impressive  also, I love the players reactions to getting drafted. maxwells choked up ‘I am’ gets me choked up 4 Quote

I don't think Beane goes off like that unless he gets the okay from Pegula. Wouldn't surprise me if WGR knew about it ahead of time too, free content for them for a full week in a slow part of the NFL offseason schedule. 1 2 1 Quote

I had thought with the way they put it out there themselves, "was this all a publicity stunt?" Quote

But you go off your valuations. Quote

I disagree . I don't think it was planned at all. Beane was really yanked at the WGR criticism and the accusation that he doesn't value WRs. He defended drafting defense because that is the side of the ball that has failed miserably in the playoffs. Plus the value in this draft was clearly on the defensive side of the ball. I think the reason they led with the media criticism in the Embedded piece was that the National media overwhelmingly agreed with Beane and felt the push back against WGR was justified. They showed the ESPN, NFL, et al takes. It was only members of the local media that were critical of Beane. Plus, since the piece dealt with the draft, it was the perfect lead in. 5 2 1 Quote

I did say aloud "I better not hear Landon Jackson here" just because I knew they met with him a ton, fit a need, and had Bills DNA written all over him. When we did Draft him in the 3rd, I was happy we got him there. But I thought he was in play at 30 based on Mocks and that would have ruined the night for me. Sanders wasn't even a thought at 30. I don't know how i'd have reacted. Edited yesterday at 01:16 AM by BillsFanForever19 1 Quote
