muppy Posted Saturday at 03:08 PM Posted Saturday at 03:08 PM (edited) Mr Artie Butler https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Artie_Butler this guy has been a legend in the music and arts business for decades. I am privleged to have met him a few times through my daughter who is a professional cabaret singer in Los Angeles. The guy is just so Cool and talented. This first clip is a song in which he wrote the piano part and arranged. The song is Dave mason written cover of Feeling alright. the 2nd clip is a memorial that recently happened for my daughters Hollywood producer. a very distinguished and brilliant character in his own right Clifford Bell. Clifford's was a life lived full of joy and creativity. RIP If you fast forward to 2: 21:21 minute mark you will hear my daughter Katrina Aguilar, followed by Artie Butler. Katrina is known as having been mentored by Clifford in producing her own show called "Part of Your World" where she sings regarding how music helped she to break free from her autism having been non verbal until the age of 5 . And now a successful career in music and 2 college degrees. Classically trained at Boston Conservatory Enough about she. Here are the clips. Enjoy. m Joe cocker feeling allright Katrina Aguilar starts at 2:21:21 God help the Outcasts and then Artie Butler Here's to Life. well worth the watch. Edited Saturday at 03:27 PM by muppy Quote

US Egg Posted 14 hours ago Posted 14 hours ago (edited) If you know this cartoon, and even if you don’t You’ll appreciate this. It’s hypnotic. Edited 14 hours ago by US Egg Quote
US Egg Posted 13 hours ago Posted 13 hours ago America Idol’s greatest performer imo, though I never watched after this season. Here’s the whole ball of wax: Quote

The lad (Peter Auty) who sang Walking in the Air (which is actually flying but that's another discussion) in the short cartoon film wasn't the same lad who sang when the song was released as a single after the movie was released. Aled Jones got to number 5 in 1985 with the song. So the first time the song was covered and released as a single it was a hit. The Snowman was first shown on TV when I was 2 and I still watch it at least once every Christmas. 1 Quote
