remember covid? that was miserable!

I remembering being like "Riiiiight. Of COURSE this is the year the Bills become an exciting dominant team, setting off offensive fireworks and seeing the coronation of Josh Allen as a legitimate franchise QB....when there are no fans in the stands to see it! Just Bills' fans luck!"

Thankfully, it was not a flash in the pan. Here we are five years later and the Bills are still bad Mother F'ers.

Also, speaking of COVID football, can we pour one out for poor Kendall Hinton? 💀

the argument every uncle rico made that they can throw at least 1 pass or have a chance to at least last 5 minutes in the NFL was proven wrong. this guy got destroyed- it was historic.

I forever laugh when people think they can actually hang with professional athletes in any capacity. The practice squad guys train at a level that is still beyond anyones normal ability. I played hockey once against a retired NHL player who played a long time in the pros and had been out for a decade. When he decided to actually try a little you couldn't see him he moved so quick and when he shot the puck you stayed out of the way because it would've broken a bone.

same; i've done some sports with pro's and it is insane. i played pickleball with a former mlb pitcher and it was insane the level of focus and intensity was off the charts.

How could the Bills play NY at 1 pm on Thanksgiving? That slot is etched in stone for the Lions.

NY would be a traffic nightmare with the parade and a 1:00 game at the Meadowlands, If the Bills play on Thanksgiving it will be either 4:25 or Night.

Absolutely.

1 of 9 for 13 yards and 2 INTs.

AND THIS WAS AN ACTUAL NFL PLAYER!!!

Yet still, to this day, there are people (likely even on this message board) that will insist they could complete passes in an NFL game. Comical.

Hey hey now

I'm one of those. If it was a 2 yard shuttle pass to the running back as soon as I took the snap in the shotgun...i could do it as long as the sun wasn't in my eyes.

In all seriousness though, I remember that game. They did dumb down the playbook but didn't run easy plays for him or even set up the plays for a chance. The defense plays read and react passive coverage and just limited options. It was a tragedy.

Good schedule.  But I do not see the NFL taking Bills-Chiefs away from CBS.  Its CBS' story to tell (they harped on that point last year).  I'm pretty certain CBS will tell it again this year.

You obviously don't follow the NFL! Dallas and Detroit get the 1 & 4 pm Thanksgiving slots, always have. It's the late game 8:30 that anyone can get.

The bills last game at home against the Dolphins is just what history demands.

The Bills last game at the Ralph will be the AFCCG, Bills go on to win the Superbowl. The banner will be hung in the house that Kim built.

If we win the Superbowl this year we cannot hang a banner that says home of the super bowl champs in the new house because we won it in the old one!

I played ball from 8-20, only played against 3 people who made it to the NFL. All three failed and all three were so filthy at that time an entire team of normal humans looked like children. The level any NFL player is at is truly hard to understand. Totally sucking is probably top 2-3 in your state for the class and a lot of those guys don't even make it.

Wasn’t part of the issue how little practice time they were able to get that week? It looked like he hadn’t had a chance to practice at QB at all. I don’t think he was ever asked to take a snap under center, for example.

I was watching with a Saints fan, and we enjoyed the easy win, but man that was ugly to watch. It was also during the “Taysom Hill as full-time QB” experiment. Hill was AWFUL in that game, but he was able to complete a few passes. That gave the Saints an insurmountable advantage at QB.

I honestly thought you were going to say because the new stadium doesn’t have a dome to hang it from. 😉

CBS can ask for it doesn't mean they will get it. The NFL no longer lets networks protects games the way they use when CBS was AFC and FOX NFC. They do try to rotate major games so everyone gets a fair shake.

They are still going to hang one in the new stadium if they win it next year. The Bills Wall of Fame will be moved to the new place even though none of those players will have played there. The Islanders hang their 4 Cup banners as well as the banners of the players whose numbers are retired at UBS even though they were won at Nassau. The Yankees have their championships and numbers of their retired players whose numbers are retired up at the current Yankees Stadium even most of the players never played in it.
