BuffaloRebound Posted 5 hours ago Posted 5 hours ago He’s fine as your Levi Wallace/Dane Jackson/Elam replacement. He’s not a starting caliber CB. Quote
LabattBlue Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago If Hairston isn’t ready soon, Beane needs to make a deadline deal for a CB. White is done. 2 Quote

And now, making these moves at the expense of a player who has greatness written all over him, a vital component of the team, and entering the prime of his career. I get it, White's not going to likely make that much etcetera, but White seems done as a quality cornerback in this league. Maybe White will buy Von Miller's house-- and then just sell it to the next wasted expense next off season. The Bills can buy it and call it the Money Pit. Tre White was done as an NFL cornerback last year. Just some strange rose colored glasses and affection for the man himself caused the Bills to make this very bad move. He can't run or move fast enough to be an NFL player anymore. We all saw him last year and then up close this year. Time to cut their losses, Tre White, and search every practice squad and trade option to get two cornerbacks. This week. Use the money they save by cutting White to sign these guys. Then let's sell that house and never use it again. Edited 1 hour ago by Mister Defense Quote

Not fine at all. Not okay, not adequate, is no longer an NFL corner. He cannot play cornerback anymore, so that means he cannot be a backuo and take meaningful snaps. He will cost the team games as a starter, of course, and as a backup--if he plays. A backup player must be capable of playing the position. White cannot cover NFL wide receivers effectively or consistently. Why pay a player who clearly cannot play? Hope we get really really lucky and no one throws the ball near him? Quote
TheFunPolice Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago Tre White is going to be the player that intercepts the ball, winning the Super Bowl for the Bills. It'll be tipped by a DL, but he will be the guy who secures the INT, ending the Lions drive and securing the W. Quote
Success Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago Feels like we gave more than enough points away: - We were rolling on the drive when we had the fumble on the cutesy play, and I think that would have been at least 3. - Coleman's fumble handed them 3. - We lost at least 3 on Josh's pick (set up by a soft call from that ref crew - without that, we're likely getting a 1st down inside the 6 yard line & at least a 50/50 TD). - The clock should have expired at the end of the 1st half - another 3 for them. - No call on Shakir on that last drive - would have at least extended the drive, allowing us to chew up most of the clock, and led to a possible TD. A cleaner, less flaggy game & it could have been a comfortable win in our favor. Quote

Hope we get really really lucky and no one throws the ball near him? There aren't 64 good boundary CBs in the entire league, let alone 32 more for good backups. It's a position with scarcity of quality players. White is probably one of the 96 best CBs out there right now. He makes a good play half the time, and gets burned the other half of the time. Quote
