Two things can be true at the same time:

He was whatever pejorative epithet you want so throw at him

And

He was a great receiver.
He may very well have gotten the measure of McD early and come to realize McD didn’t have “It”

Put him on this team now and he is our best receiver.

Im not a big McDermott fan, but im not going to blame Sean for Diggs acting like a 5 year old.

He blew up in Minnesota as well and he demanded out.

This is just who he is and I don't think it matters who the coach is

How much will Diggs be in Josh's head next time they

play?

Mack Hollins would be our best receiver as well right now.

He won't be in Joshs head. This isn't High school.

And NO, Mack Hollins would not be our best receiver over Shakir or Palmer.

Yes he was onto something.  After 4 years he realized this team with the coaching/management structure in place, would never win a Super Bowl.

Hate the guy all you want, he is a great football player, and the kind of GameDay player this team desperately needs.

One thing I will say is the Minnesota leadership was a lot like the buffalo leadership. I think grable has the balls to rightly put digs in check or tell him to shut the ***** up.

Saw this coming?  The Bills were in the AFCCG the year after he left, lol.

Bills overachieved last season. Our defense nowhere close to Super Bowl caliber and our offense is facing the same issue we faced last season….lack of talent. Cook was the only reason we were competitive in that AFCCG…..take him out the equation and that game is an ugly one.

Diggs I think lost faith in McDermott and the coaching here in general and that was an accelerant to get the fire going in order to essentially force Beane's hand.

Ironically the main nemesis for McD has been the playoffs and Stefon didn't excel in that same area when he was a Buffalo Bill.

Having said that we'd sure welcome a WR who can achieve 100 receptions a year who can actually not faceplant in the playfoffs but elevate even further.

I don't know.

How much will Joe Brady be in Josh's head?

Diggs lost faith in how McDermott was running things and how he wants his offense ran.

Diggs seemed to have no issue with Dabol, and to a lesser extent Dorsey. But he kept seeing the defense fail and saw how things were going with Brady.  He'll yes he wanted out and now we see why.

I'd take a narcissist winner over a jolly happy dancing clown any day.

You will throw a tantrum when his teammates let him down. At the same time he's going to push everyone around him. He's going to be a fire under everyone's ass and hold them accountable

There isn't anybody on this team to do that

Yeah we saw him getting Josh's face and argue but we also saw him there to talk him up, praise him, encourage him when he fell down too.

The hate on Stefan Diggs has an NFL player is ridiculous. As a person yeah, it could make some sense to ridicule him but he's an NFL player in our world and that's all he is because we don't know him.

This is the part I love- Diggs holds "everyone accountable ". Just watch Jt o Sullivans breakdown of Diggs in the divisional playoff round against KC.

JT Constantly calls him out for not trying hard, running the wrong routes, and of course the fumble and the massive drop at the end of the game.

Diggs loves to yell and scream at other people to "hold them accountable ", but in the biggest game of the season there are numerous plays of him on film dogging it with poor effort.

He is a straight up clown

I’m not disagreeing.

Just suggesting that the OP might be onto something.

Not even arguing that, but Diggs ran himself out of town.

i can see it as him simply being burned out with this team. when you fall off and fall out it is easy to be where he got.

he was alienated by the leadership as one of the top 20 in his position in the world. one of the top 5 talents on the team. the number 1 player at his position the team has had for over 10 years maybe more.

He was a great player from 2020- mid 2023, no doubt.

But he was also a complete head case and hypocrite who always no showed in the big playoff games

When you double him,but have nothing else it stands to make sense he disappears against KC.

who did show up in the playoff games? besides Josh?  Gabe Davis maybe for a game - but that was a lot to d owith Jsoh. the defense didn't show up. the offense stumbled.

Ok but Diggs is an elite player right? KCs elite players like Chris jones and Kelce always showed up in the playoffs.

Diggs never did.

Translation: I am happy that loud mouth choker is gone , regardless of the receivers we have now

Ok but How about the fumble the first drive of the game against KC and the dropped pass that probably cost them the game?
