#28, #163, #200. 2025 1st & 3rd.

Traded down from #70

I'd definitely be on-board with that. Nice job.

I sorta gamed the system on this one. I kept trading back, because I knew Legette is available late second. Tried to address every area except special teams.

Can we stop using the Mock sim resources that have Legette still available at 60? Just doesn’t seem realistic at all. No offense to anyone.

I don’t know man, I think you’re probably right given his combine stats and production during one of the harder schedules in CFB. The only thing against him is an absolute quiet first 4 years…

I did one earlier that had the Ravens trading up to #30 to jump Detroit for Graham Barton (which is not far fetched TBH). So I went back to #30, picked up an extra 4th. Still got AD Mitchell in the first. Took Bralen Trice at #60 (not my favourite pick but he was best value on the board plays a priority position and a need position) then traded two of my now three 4ths and one 5th to get into the end of round 3 and take Jaden Hicks (who I increasingly love as a Bills specific fit). Then Maason Smith was there in round 4 and Beaux Limmer in round 5.

I mean.... I would be pretty ecstatic if those ended up our first five selections. Mitchell isn't my favourite WR for us but I think he fits the style and need. Trice isn't an explosive pass rusher but he is capable of backing up Groot and if you don't see that jump from him this year then Trice gives you the option not to have to commit to a second deal and an in-house replacement. Hicks is a really nice fit. Smart, called the defense, was trusted to adjust coverages... speed is the question but Poyer and Hyde were never fliers either. Smith is a talent who didn't maximise it in college but sitting behind Ed and rotating in is perfect for him and I really like Limmer. He could the job as a rookie. Love his feet.

I got Guerendo after that too. Basically I'd sign for that draft right now.

We need a safety, as we all know. Jaden Hicks, Cole Bishop and Jaylon Carlies are who I hope they target. All natural athletes with good instincts at the position. Productive as well for multiple years.

Wouldn’t mind Oladapo or Air Force’s Trey Taylor either for the same reasons.

This draft has a lot of guys who look to have NFL talent.

Question about the mocks (and the real draft coming up).

Have the Bills ever had so many picks??

How many could ACTUALLY make the 53?  I'm expecting MANY trade ups with this wealth of draft capital.

Looking to see more TRADE UP MOCKS here.  Thanks!

That would be exciting Scorpion.  Thomas Jr., and Mitchell would be fun to watch.  Did you give up a first in 2025 for that?  Might be worth it.

I did, only way to keep 28. I think it would take the offense to a whole new level.

So just the 2 picks to get 17, 60 & 2025 1st?

I had to give up a 1st and 5th next year. But I couldn’t be happier. For whatever reason he began to fall so I jumped on it. Started the attempt to try and trade up once he made it to 11. Offered every team something from 11 to 17.

I think we'd have to give 2025 1st & 2nd along with pick 60 in order for a team to actually do that.  Or, maybe Diggs instead of the 2025 2nd

This one has us trading up to 25 for Murphy....while Brian Thomas Jr makes it to 24 for Dallas.

Also has KC going up to 19 for Worthy....

I'm not sure if like that very much, considering Newton goes 32. I'd much rather have Newton or Jenkins if we're adding another 3tech.

Forgive a second consecutive mock, and I don't want to overstate things, but...this no-movement, BPA-ish draft gives me hope for the future I think.

image.thumb.png.adbb1bef2fd4a753aa53188243d69869.png

The first two picks are the kinds of dudes who could make a difference if all goes well. The next four picks could all become starters sooner or later. Carlies has S/LB/Big Nickel position flex. The UW EDGE prospect should be in the NFL probably, and those last three picks are good bets on traits and tape and all have a puncher's chance to make the roster.

Yes, I'd pick Wiggins at 28 if he slipped and the best WRs are off the board like they were in this mock.  Good value.

pff_mock_results.thumb.png.7f2fd6d445911b92a58f1a6bcba67f8e.png

Does that A- for Polk mean that you scrolled down past a handful of available prospects specifically to select a WR, and/or that PFF saw a better need-based value on the board?

It's about adding the best/most NFL talent possible with every pick in every year. But of course not every pick, every year will make the roster, thus...position can and should occasionally boost a prospect based on need. In this mock-case, you're using a 1st round pick to add a CB to a position of strength--I think Benford, Douglas, Elam, Lewis, Johnson is a decent room already. Then again, if Wiggins is legit (I have NO idea), can't really be a bad move to bring him in.

I'd prefer a DL or WR prospect there, but who knows how it specifically shook out.
