Civilians didn't die as collateral damage of an attack on military installations and on soldiers. Civilians of all ages were targeted with the most gruesome mass murders of Jews since the 1940's. Anyone who "stands" with anything other than the victims of this massacre, is standing with the worst evil that civilian Jews have suffered since the SS targeted Jews with gruesome killings. Sadly but not shockingly, many elected officials around the world including in the U.S. are not standing with victims of the worst massacre of civilian Jews in generations, and the crime is already being erased from history if you read to language on most news platforms.
