I have a iPhone 7-still working.  Two Buck  Chuck (or is it Three nowadays?) is fine. I splurge on cheese by getting Yancy's Fancy Buffalo Wing cheddar. Only affects snobs like you.

I think as far as value the Washington Reds are the best there are on the planet. I get so.many good bottles from there in the $25 range.

Me too.   I also like Oregon reds.  Thee local wine store makes much of its profit on French wines.  She also sells French cheese.  She's pretty concerned with staying afloat.  Wegman's cheese from their cave is amazing but sadly the closest Wegmans is 3 hours.

Many, many people enjoy good wines and cheese.  Our so themed party brings in all kinds of folks and is our biggest Rotary fundraiser.  You should look for one.  Might change your mind.

Couple years ago a the vendor of a friend gave her a bottle of one of Drew Bledsoe's cabs. It was really good. We looked it up on the world wide web, cheapest we could find it for was $55. A bit out of my price range, at least for now. Prefer to stay in your $25 range except for holidays.

It's an awesome event.  $40 for 6 wines, 1 nonalcoholic sparkling wine, 1 local draft beer, a dessert table with good cheeses, silent auction and jazz band.  What's not to like?  The lady that owns the wine shop sells it at cost to us and takes back any unused/unsold.

Ironically, I think most who have passionate disagreements on PPP to the point where it seems they genuinely dislike folks they haven't met would, if they were to meet at a tailgate before a game, get along with those same people. If politics comes up they might even respect differing opinions and agree to disagree before changing the subject.
