Republicans Subsidizing The Spread Of The Disease

And sloth. Paying these lazy people not to get the vaccine.

“At least five Republican-led states have extended unemployment benefits to people who’ve lost jobs over vaccine mandates — and a smattering of others may soon follow,” The Post reported. “Workers who quit or are fired for cause — under which defying company policy would qualify — are generally ineligible for jobless benefits. But Arkansas, Florida, Iowa, Kansas and Tennessee have carved out exceptions for those who won’t submit to the multi-shot coronavirus vaccine regimens that many businesses now require.” Wyoming, Wisconsin and Missouri may copy them.

Democrats have been winning elections this way since the 60s.

You know how this gets fixed? Not firing people for not getting a shot for a disease they likely won’t suffer any long term ill effects from. Then none of them get unemployment. Go figure.

This is entirely consistent with the nature of unemployment benefits.  It's not supposed to be punitive, friend.

Plus, people are hurting.

Put the blame where it belongs: on Joey.

He's paying losers to sit at home and spread the disease? I know you can't, but take off the blinders

Sure, and let the disease people spread their sickness, brilliant!

If you get fired you don't get the benefits, that's how it works

Don't be a raging hypocrite.  The buck stops with him.  More dead under him than Trump.  By his own words he should be removed as President.

The Washington Post is owned by Jeff Bezos, who is a left wing, Democrat supporter... so, if you’re wondering why the article is disingenuous, and slanted against conservatives, there’s your answer...”fool me twice- ya can’t get fooled again...” 😉

No, that's not how it works.  As an employer who has terminated individuals for cause, documented same and responded to unemployment case workers, I can tell you your position is incredibly naive.

Plus, let's remember I included the necessary language:  People are hurting.

So, that means that the fact, the basic, undeniable fact, should be ignored?

See how China closed down the media in Hong Kong? Jealous?

Yes, cause, not being safe. That’s cause

Now, Tibs, I know you’re smart enough to know that the spreading of covid is not limited to the unvaccinated...just look at our football team...😉

You taking the vaccine does not make someone else healthier...but I’m sure you knew this already as well- which makes the title of this thread a moot point...Everyone is spreading the virus, my friend...👍

Tibs, benefits during this critical time need to be adjusted. We need not to be at war with ourselves and removing benefits will not change the mind of anti vaxers. They are citizens too. Punishment is not an option.

I sense that you changed your argument here as the narrative evolved.   An employee can be terminated, the cause documented, the termination withstand the scrutiny of the state as it relates to wrongful termination, and the employee may well be able to receive unemployment benefits.

I guess leadership in the states that have placed a burr under your saddle are just trying to clarify what might be referred to as the "Not being safe" loophole.   I applaud them.

While we're on the topic of subsidizing the spread of disease, can we talk about the billions spent on AIDS treatment and research every year?  I think for $10M we could probably get condoms in bulk and airdrop them into large cities and other palaces of *****.

Are you saying they and their families should starve because they don't want to take a shot?

People like him can’t help it. Vaccinated = good, unvaccinated = bad in their eyes and there’s no deviation from that. That’s the ultimate goal of propaganda and why we’re all still part of this mess.

I got covid in  November 2020,  got vaccinated in April 2021, and just caught it again, from a person who has both shots and the booster. It happens.  Tibs is a low info person,  especially on this topic.

SOCIALISM only acceptable to the cult when convenient.

@Doc - is Biden preventing anyone from getting the vaccine? Or are your coveted “unbiased” media sources pushing fake news?

We all know the answer “doc”
