This is nice but catching a ball is the easy part of his hand use unfortunately. Blocking and falling will put a lot more stress on it. We will know he’s close when he’s cleared as a full participant.

True when he's a full participant in practice he'll be closer to playing than when he isn't. 🤔

That’s why the surgery to immobilize the fracture and minimize the need for casting is so important

Our son tore his ACL and MCL in HS football. He went to the “regular physical therapist” prior to surgery. That set him back several weeks. He went to a SERIOUS sports therapist next who had to work his quads back into shape prior to surgery. He was back on a basketball court 5 months after surgery. Not 100% trusting it, but out there mixing it up.

Our injuries and recoveries as mere mortals do not necessarily reflect what happens when you are a cog in a multi-billion dollar empire.

Um this is the Knox injury thread.  Are you posting this in the intended place?

yes there is a cover 1 video in this thread explaining how we should deal with the run with Knox out. Video was posted couple pages back. With Knox out I would just spread them and run it up the gut.
