H.R. 1 And The Fight For Voting Rights -- We The People!

Recommended Posts

Most people realize that there's no reason not to have ID to vote.  You need ID to do so many things in this country that aren't anywhere close to as important as (securing the process of) voting.  The Dems are just lying about it for obvious reasons.

It's because the whole racism thing used to play so well.  The key words there are "used to".  People (even on the left) are getting tired of it which is a shame.  Because it does exist and they've cried racism so much people will begin to ignore actual racism.  Not one person, here, in the media or politician has been able to explain what is racist about any of these voter bills.  Tell me they did this to keep more registered Democrats from voting I may tend to agree because Republicans are scum bags too. They are all cut from the same cloth.  But don't tell me they did it to keep blacks from voting.   Jim Crow on steroids my ass.

I wonder how many other states had the same discrepancy?

How can something like that happen?

Merrick Garland, Stop Using Black Americans’ Struggles to Push Your Stupid Voting Law

by Jeff Charles

FTA:

Most of the steps taken by the federal government to safeguard the rights of black Americans to vote were necessary, especially in a time when local and state-level governments were enacting brazenly racist policies designed to maintain second-class citizen status for blacks. These actions were necessary for the subversion of the biased practices that were commonplace back then.

As stated previously, both black and white Americans poured blood, sweat, and tears into the effort to ensure equitable treatment of Americans of all races. They toiled day in and day out to manifest an America in which black people could participate in the democratic process without facing onerous obstacles designed to keep them away from the ballot box.

In your op-ed, you made an utter mockery of the work these individuals poured into their lies so many years ago. Like many of your comrades on the left, you used the struggles of black Americans to push your agenda. Your piece was not simply a retelling of history or an acknowledgment of how far this nation has come. It was nothing more than propaganda to persuade Americans to support the “For the People Act,” which would amount to little more than a federal takeover of local elections.

Just as other Democrats have done, you thought it wise to push the “Jim Crow 2.0” narrative of which your boss has become quite fond. The reality is that neither you nor any of your cohorts have provided a shred of evidence that the voting laws being passed in red states will somehow disenfranchise black voters. Indeed, in most cases, these states have expanded access to the polls.

The truth is that you and your ilk know that these laws will not prevent black Americans from casting their votes. You are well aware of the reality that Jim Crow has no place in this discussion. Yet, you still insist on using the atrocious racist policies of the past to try to manipulate people into supporting your initiative. This reveals what many of us already know: You view black people as nothing more than political pawns to be used to accomplish your objectives.

Of course they know. They just don’t care. It’s like Harry Reid lying about Romney not paying taxes. As long as it produced the desired result, who cares? Tell a lie enough times…

It was a campaign. It was a campaign.  HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

A monthslong investigation into the 2020 presidential vote has found that Democrat-run cities and states used the COVID-19 crisis to change the rules that likely helped Joe Biden’s ascent to the White House.

Absolutely, something obvious to anyone capable of critical thinking and original thought the day after the election last November.  Mental skills that have been banned from the public domain and social media.  As unless some 24 year old Silicon Valley "credentialed idiot" censor/fact checker working under the guidance of  Dorsey and Zuckerberg on social media approves of your words and thoughts they cannot be considered to be "information".

Almost 15 Million 2020 Mail-In Ballots Unaccounted For

712140b9-f739-4012-9b7d-9be41829e0f9-860

Almost 15 million mail-in votes have “gone unaccounted for,” according to a new report by the Indiana-based election integrity group”Public Interest Legal Foundation” (PILF).

“In the face of a pandemic, states from across the nation hastily pushed traditionally in person voters to mail ballots while, at the same time, trying to learn how to even administer such a scenario” the report stated.

PILF describes itself as “the nation’s only public interest law firm dedicated wholly to election integrity,” existing “to assist states and others to aid the cause of election integrity and fight against lawlessness in American elections.”

Former Justice Department civil rights attorney and current PJ Media contributor J. Christian Adams, the president of PILF, said the results don’t bode well for mail-in voting.

“These figures detail how the 2020 push to mail voting needs to be a one-year experiment,” Adams said in a statement.

Bills in Congress, including H.R. 1, the supposed For The People Act, “risk inflating these numbers even further, pushing our election system toward error, disenfranchisement, and ultimately widespread doubt about election outcomes,” Adams continued. “Some of the counties with the least experience in administering mail voting rejected the most ballots nationwide. If continued, 2020-style chaos will become the norm.”

Federal data compilations show that the status of 14.7 million ballots was deemed “unknown” by election officials during the 2020 election, and almost 43.1 million ballots combined from elections in 2012 and onward.

What Does “Unknown” Mean?

The brief PILF report defines it this way:

The U.S. Election Assistance Commission asks local officials how many ballots were not returned as voted, were undeliverable, or were otherwise “unable to be tracked.” The USPS Inspector General most recently reported that only 13 percent of mail ballots in the 2018 General Election used the official tracking system. This means there is a wide variety of things that can happen to a ballot in the “unknown” column.

In the 2020 election, there were 14.7 million “unknown” ballots nationwide, as well as 1.1 million undeliverable ballots, and 560,814 rejected ballots.

PILF helps put these figures in perspective by noting that Joe Biden carried Arizona by a mere 10,457 votes, yet Maricopa County, the state’s largest county, reportedly sent ballots to 110,092 wrong or outdated addresses.

Standard business by the democrats.

With the Democrats, everything is voter suppression. It’s voter suppression when states require you to fill out an application for an absentee ballot; they want ballots automatically sent to every voter on the rolls. So what if you get ballots for people who haven’t lived at your address for years, or your deceased parent receives a ballot?

The recall election in California is underway, and ballots have been sent out. Police say somehow, 300 or so unopened ballots were found in a car in a 7-Eleven parking lot, along with a sleeping man, a gun, and some narcotics.

The man was taken into custody, but has since been released on his own recognizance. Police still don’t know how he obtained the ballots and what his intent was.

How do they not know how he obtained 300 ballots from Lawndale and Compton? It’s OK, though; the Los Angeles County Registrar’s office says “there’s nothing to indicate this was focused on the election.”

Mail-in balloting is simply not secure, and it undermines confidence in elections.

As long as you vote yes Ismael I don’t care. LOL

But seriously this is stupid. Am I happy with Newsom?  Of course not but let’s get rid of him during the next election in 15 months. This is a total waste of money and sets a horrible precedent just as the impeachment of Trump did.
