Anything else is just a bunch of chest-thumping non-sense about how good we are on paper or how well we have played against other teams. Does not matter till we dethrone that team. Belichick will always have a well-prepared team, and the Bills will always be in a dog fight with them. McDermott and the coaching staff have been excellent, but have had mixed results against the upper tier coaches in the NFL at least for now. Especially against Belichick. While last year we proved that we are very close to knocking through that door and taking command of the AFC East, and I am FULLY confident the Bills can get over that hurdle, I am still taking this mindset until we truly knock them off, New England is the team to beat. I think they will decline slower than we did but they are on the decline. They may not ever hit bottom but they are declining. Our QB is leading the league in passing yards even if it is after only 2 games. When is the last time you could say that.
