The IRF battalion — which deployed to Iraq earlier this year to quell Iran-backed violence — brought approximately 750 soldiers, ten Black Hawk helicopters, and four Chinooks, according to sources.

 

The helicopters are utility, not attack, and are used to transport troops short distances.

 

The aircraft are just one of the ways troops could be transported, but would give the IRF the ability to rapidly deploy to a number of locations in the D.C. Metro area quickly.

Media domination backfires on Democrats

 

As usual, the press totally blew the story on Monday night when President Donald John Trump walked out of the White House crossed Lafayette Park to St. John's Church.

The photo op was not President Trump holding a Bible in front of a boarded building.

The photo that mattered was President Trump leading Cabinet members and others from the White House.

Leaders lead.

The press was carrying water for the Democrat Party, which continues to blow its asymmetrical war with The Donald. Even after five years of this struggle, Democrats do not get what they are up against. He is not Bush, Romney, or even Reagan. He does not seek their approval, admiration or respect. He just wants to win.

And he knows how to.

Democrats misread Monday's walk in which the journey indeed was the destination.

Their Flying Monkeys in the press carried the message that President Trump was politicizing religion, making him only the 45th consecutive president to do so.

But President Trump knew it would be spun this way.

What? Do you think he didn't realize what a phony Bishop Budde is? After watching his political prowess for five years, I expect him to have mapped out a plan ahead of time. He knew exactly what he was getting into. The same with the Catholic archbishops.

Once again, this was a win for President Trump. He led his staff into battle with bleeding heart liberalism. He is a man of action and Democrats have yet to figure that out.

The press has not given him a break for five years. This has tired the press out, not him.

 

But the press is too beholden to the Democrat Party to reject even the silliest of spins. No one who read the transcript of the Ukrainian phone call saw anything untoward much less illegal. And yet six months later, we went through this Fake Impeachment -- fake because there was no criminal charge, as required in the Constitution.

Democrats fell into the trap of believing their own press releases. If everyone in Washington is saying it is an impeachable offense, it must be an impeachable offense. But everyone in Washington is saying that because everyone in Washington is saying it.
