Operation Boomerang AG Barr's Investigation of Acts of Treason by Federal Employees

TARGETED: EXCLUSIVE: The Treasury Department Spied on Flynn, Manafort, and the Trump Family, Says Whistleblower.

President Barack Obama’s Treasury Department regularly surveilled retired Army Lt. Gen. Michael T. Flynn’s financial records and transactions beginning in December 2015 and well into 2017, before, during and after when he served at the White House as President Donald Trump’s National Security Director, a former senior Treasury Department official, and veteran of the intelligence community, told the Star Newspapers.

“I started seeing things that were not correct, so I did my own little investigation, because I wanted to make sure what I was seeing was correct” she said. “You never want to draw attention to something if there is not anything there.”

The whistleblower said she only saw metadata, that is names and dates when the general’s financial records were accessed. “I never saw what they saw.”

By March 2016, the whistleblower said she and a colleague, who was detailed to Treasury from the intelligence community, became convinced that the surveillance of Flynn was not tied to legitimate criminal or national security concerns, but was straight-up political surveillance among other illegal activity occurring at Treasury. . . . This ruse was to get around using classified resources to surveil Americans, she said. Once the Treasury personnel had enough information about someone they were targeting from the black box, they would go to the white box for faster and more informed search.

It was routine for these searches that had no criminal nor national security predicate, merely a political predicate, she said.

People need to be jailed for this kind of thing.

One If by Land, Two If by Sea, and Three If They’re Using the CIA

662b2b9b-bede-4000-a5dd-2475f4019436.jpg

In reporting on apparent CIA involvement in spying on an American citizen, RedState’s Bonchie observed:

If this were a Republican implicated, it’d be treated as the largest political scandal of the last hundred years.

And so it would. Therefore: Let’s treat it as the largest political scandal of the last hundred years.

I don’t see evidence that we need the cooperation of the blue media establishment to convince a majority of the American people that such is the case. The Other Guys like to behave as though they are the gatekeepers of public opinion. But we don’t have to accept their formulation. There’s an awful lot of empirical evidence out there that they only have 35 to 45 percent of the voters under management. We can get to the rest, where “we” means the combined forces of the red media and the red citizenry. We do not have to sit here and grouse that “the media” won’t cover this. Sure it will. And that’s because we’re the media, too.

As the Mueller investigation was winding down, multiple polls began appearing to tell us that a majority of registered voters — a small majority to be sure, but a majority nevertheless — believed the Mueller investigation to be “politically motivated” or “a partisan witch hunt.” We enabled that. Activists and media figures on our side were the only ones who told people just how crooked that whole Mueller Show really was. It sure wasn’t CNN or The New York Times.

{snip}

Very few Americans know this was going on. But we do. We know it for a fact.

There are a lot of these facts. It isn’t just Flynn. It isn’t just Carter Page. It isn’t just FISA. It isn’t just an FBI Director who lied under oath to the Court; or a Director of National Intelligence who lied under oath to Congress; or even a CIA Director who persuaded foreign allies to run sting operations on U.S. citizens for political purposes. It’s all of that, and a lot more. Only a tiny percentage of the public has the vaguest idea how much of it there really is. Things we know for a fact.

We need to fix that. Before November.

ADDED:

Disappointing, but not really unexpected.

It would be almost impossible to convict a former president and likely would lead to others getting off.

Find all his lieutenants guilty and that will end his false legacy.

Entirely expected -- but what this does is turn the heat up to 11 on this guy:

John Brennan: My trouble with Trump? 'His dishonesty, his character'

And there's a slew of others in serious peril, including cabinet level.

"As to President Obama and Vice President Biden, whatever their level of involvement, based on the information I have today, I don't expect Mr. Durham's work will lead to a criminal investigation of either man," Barr said.

I understand what he is saying (and it is right), but it is tough when one side plays by the rules, and the other side is always breaking the rules. And the rule-breakers never seem to pay, and are instead, rewarded.

First we don't believe all women anymore, now we don't believe whistleblowers!

Lol.  11?  Let me know when Beardy McGee learns how to turn on the pilot light.

Remember, Comey and the Bureau told Trump and Flynn they weren’t under investigation.

I forgot about that one. There are so many incidents to remember that I might need to re-read some of these threads to freshen up.

I actually agree with this since it is likely he insulated himself from it and unless Comey, McCabe, and ALL the other people state Obama was part of it then he walks, might not be fair but it is the way it works.
