What i took from that was Barr was saying the president can shut down investigations when he believes the charges are false ..I think that's what Barr was saying..and now that the charges of collusion/conspiracy are false, it would have been okay for Trump to stop the investigation. I am not tyingthis specifically to this investigation..but it seems like any time the President wants to shut down an investigation into his conduct, he can, and just claim there was no misdeed/crime, so i am shutting the whole thing down.
