I agree it doesn't mean much to players/agents but the teams that pay them it does. KC paid Sammy based only on his potential. He didn't get that much money because he proved he was elite. I don think there is really anyone out there that would say Anderson has more potential than Sammy. I don't agree with this rationale but I for sure think GM's are dumb and go by this type of thinking. I think the world pretty much laughed when Sammy got paid that. If there is a GM dumb enough to give Anderson that well I hope its not us. I think he will be paid somewhere around what cobb is making.
