Andrew McCabe Under Investigation by Grand Jury

Has the worm turned?

"The Justice Department's inspector general concluded that McCabe repeatedly misled investigators about contacts with a Wall Street Journal reporter in 2016."

He lied under oath three times and was found to have "lacked candor" at least one other time.

Were it you or I, we'd be in jail.

Oh, and just exactly why hasn't Carter Page been arrested yet? After all he was the subject of a FISA warrant that was renewed three times. The basis of that warrant was that he was an active agent of Russia and doing spying and treasonous acts in and upon the United States.

Remember: to the left, this is "Trump weaponizing government to go after his enemies."

This doesn't change things, it makes the division worse...

Which is fine, because as long as it can be clearly demonstrated that "his enemies" attempted to rig a federal election, and assert a palace coup in gross violation of the law, circumventing the established democratic principles on which the peaceful transfer of power rests; the fringe will get louder and larger, but they'll be completely isolated from the overwhelming majority of the nation which will also swell in size.

First they would have to even acknowledge it.

Wa-Po/NPR article pretty much tried to cover for it on the 6th., then its been almost no reporting since.

The left will protect their own to their dying breaths, which I don't understand for the life of me.

Justice simply isn't a priority to the left when one of their own is guilty, but if someone on the right is accused of something, they will go to their dying breaths to make sure the conservative is in jail. Go figure.

Half the country will think that evidence is fabricated by Trump administration, and interpret that as further proof Trump's a fascist dictator.

People won't approach this story rationally.  They have their entire identies wrapped up in it, and people will die before they change their own sense of identity.

Base on Papadapa however you spell it, McCabe could be looking at 42 days in jail.

Thats fine for open minded people who are not nor will be in office ever.  Someday, Republicans won't control everything and then the retribution will begin.  I've made this point before and you've already disagreed with it.  Labeling Trump as a fascist has an odd side effect of painting any response he makes to Dems' efforts to oust him as: "see, he's a fascist who's trampling his political opponents."  Unwittingly brilliant because D's can some day in the future use Trump's response as a reason to label every R as a Trump fascist who must be removed from office.
