She had months to handle this differently, numerous opportunities to do it with confidentiality. But she chose to do it at the 11th hour - not because she thinks it'll matter (she knows Kavanaugh will get confirmed, or at worst another conservative will), but she did so to try to win a meaningless political victory. Shameful. Even more so when you listen to her words today.
