You're talking about the interruption of the supply of food, water, and energy. You're talking about the complete end of the domestic economy, with functioning businesses being replaced by roving gangs of looters and mini-anarchist protectorates. WE have to lead the way, in our day to day lives. In our day to day conversations. In our day to day interactions with those who think/act/believe differently than us. This was pushed by Clinton media acolytes in the MSM and Hollywood hard. Then, after that back-fired and he won the election, it escalated to hyperbole about anyone who dared question that deplorable decree as being a Putin sympathizer. This was pushed by the Obama and Clinton media acolytes in the MSM and Hollywood hard. Then, after that didn't take and the evidence of political spying mounted against 44, the rhetoric escalated to anyone daring to support Trump is supporting a Nazi regime, and thus not worth working with or conversing with. Now we've reached a fever pitch, a gumbo stew of all three hyperbolic and divisive stances - designed to denigrate one side of the political spectrum while giving the other a free pass to commit violence and descend into mob-justice mentality... and the Obama and Clinton media acolytes in the MSM and Hollywood are blaming it on Trump's divisive remarks HARD. Please clarify who you mean by they. Trump is a lightning rod and a counter puncher. That's why and how he won. The attacks against him and his supporters were every bit as ugly, if not uglier, by the opposing side (which controls 90% of the media and messaging industries) since he started winning primaries. What you and others call an attack on "decency itself" is viewed by many more as counter punching against a tilted and incredibly vile opposition. Should a President be better than that and rise above? It's certainly something many would like to see. But would it matter if the other side is committed to destroying him with lie after lie after lie? Or is it better to have a guy who's going to call it how it is, break down the walls of everyone's echo chambers, and expose the machine to sunlight? There's pros and cons to both sides of that plan. And while Trump certainly is not blameless, putting this all at his feet is intellectually dishonest. Just now, Rob's House said: Well, WE can remember, but their supporters have short memories. Every time one of their phony scandals falls apart they're on to the next without giving it a second thought. That's why the crimes committed, and there were VERY serious crime committed, can't just be exposed - but the criminals must be punished and made examples of so that this never happens again. I do believe that's still the plan. The slow and deliberate roll out of evidence (which began in December of '17) has proven that to me time and time again. Big fish are going to fry, they must. Otherwise what you said will continue to be true and the cycle will go on unbroken.
