Wacka Posted August 2, 2021 Share Posted August 2, 2021 Not good for renters either. I amovd to Cali in 1995. Rented a one bedroom ib a place built in the 50s for about 750 in Silicon Valley. Got a better job and moved to East SF bay in 97. Rented a 900 some sq foot two bedroom apt( built in 87) for 1050. per month. Went up over time to 1550/ month in 2012. Then they were remodeling apts and would be charging me 1850/month if I stayed there. Mover to the central valley and rented a room for 499.month. Had a stroke and moved back to WNY to be with family. Around 2017 I got an email from the landlord of the hot in the east SF bay that I could pay rent online.
