They were going to lose him either way.  No way were they going to franchise him.

Possibly. They could have given him a contract as well though.

Just glad they dealt him. He's close to going 3-0 since taking over as starter making the 49'ers look good.

You guys need to listen to the others in this thread and stop rooting for SF. If we finish 9-7, the most realistic way we get in is a 3 way tie with Tenn and LAC. That means the chargers win out, and the Titans go 1-2 (and the win can’t come against Jax). This looks likely looking at the schedule. If the Titans can’t win today or next week, then we have to get a loss from LA or Bal. much harder it seems.

Cliffnotes: under likely scenarios, a Tenn win this week gives us a clearer path.

This post was an exercise in how much wrong one poster can fit into two paragraphs.

We need to root for both the chargers AND titans to lose.

The chargers are NOT for real.

Yes we want Chargers, Titans and Balt to lose.  I think the Titans win crowd has to assume we lose to Pats and must get in at 9-7.  If we win two, Chargers irrelevant so their legal mumbo-jumbo is unpersuasive!

In case you missed the last 16 years, the Bills are not beating New England with Brady at QB
