Yeah, all the moves they have made are putting everything into the draft. They need to nail it. It's really the best way to build a winner: you have to draft your star players. Is this group up to the task?

I'm having doubts after this last fiasco.

They could double the picks and they still wouldn't have enough. This team is devoid of talent. There is really very little talent left on this team. This is a couple of drafts and a couple FA periods at best and I still don't think they'll be there by then.

You are definitely in the "don't know a thing about football and it shows" group.

You mean he spends his days and nights doing things other than watching football and rewinding tapes of the last 17 seasons to dig up every bad nugget of this franchise?

Since you keep telling us that you know football better than anyone else on this site, why haven’t you answered the question on why didn’t a single QB starved team make a play for a relatively cheap and super-available Tyrod Taylor last February & March?  Do you think Cousins accepts a below market deal to return to Washington because there would be no takers?

You're delusional if you don't think TT needs a team built around him just as much as any good rookie QB to compete for the playoffs.

He ain't good enough.

The best QBs in the league also have the better teams in terms of talent around them. They don't have the slop that the Bills have at too many positions.

Taylor wouldn't have thrown that pass.  He'd have check down to someone two yards downfield.   Come on, admit it.

No. He throws into tight windows at times. Not enough but he does it. He throws tight spirals to covered guys sometimes. He throws before guys look at times. People act like he never does these things, which is absurd, versus not doing it nearly enough

Did he also have crap WRs that were always hurt and a defense that was a sieve? Or a penalty every other down? Didn't think so. His "team" is better than ours. Zero doubt about it.

The Redskins defense is 31st in points allowed.

His leading WR has started 4 games on the year and only played in 9.  His starting TE is hurt every week.

So perhaps we can stop pretending that only Tyrod Taylor is holding us back from being the Browns.

EVERY winning QB needs a good team around him.  Can you name 1 great QB that doesn't have a really good team around him?

WTF are you talking about?

They didn't HAVE to build anything around him.

The offense was already built in the offseason of 2015.

The players were already there.

They didn't have to do ANYTHING wrt personnel to make it better for Taylor in 2015 than they had when they thought Matt Cassel was going to be the starter.

Right now they need 1 player to make it work much better for TT........an high quality downfield threat........but more favorable play design and play calling are necessary and might even do it.    But despite tastes of success when he has made adjustments...... Dennison is determined to fail with what he knows best.

They need a lot more for a young pocket passer........specifically several replacements on the OL.......the hardest area on a football team to repair.

And the truth is when draft day arrives.........ALL of their picks in the draft probably won't be enough to move up to the very top couple of picks in the draft...........so if they are determined to get that QB......and they SHOULD BE........then they aren't going to be able to fix that OL.

The good old if you dont agree with me you dont know a thing about football blast.  Dont forget the agenda blast and the Im done talking to you blast. Also get some of you buddys to gang up on this guy and make sure to top it off by getting one of the mods that you buy shots for at the local watering hole every friday to ban him. That way youll have great story to tell all your coworkers at Dominos tomorrow night. Dont forget to gas your car up before your shift. More deliveries means more tips.

I disagree with your premise that every good QB needs a really good team to make the playoffs.

To win a SuperBowl, yeah probably. To make the postseason, NOPE.

That's funny, because all we had going into 2017 of the 2015 skill players was Sammy and McCoy.

So this really comes down to Sammy.  Even though that 2015 team won 8 games with Tyrod.

It's called recollection ol' timer.    I know I've told you that many times and you keep forgetting but I don't mind repeating myself for you because you used to be fairly cognizant poster back in your day.:flirt:

Didn't say playmakers.......you said the offense had to be built AROUND Taylor and it simply never was.

The OL was there......and also Charles Clay who you don't consider a playmaker but whatever.

Came to 2017 camp with 9 starters from 2015 offense.

Yes.......one player can make a huge difference........trading Watkins took away the Bills vertical passing game, which was critical.

Losing Dareus hurt a lot too........but I suppose you doubt that as well.

Can't argue with one iota of this.
