We've got about 4 weeks before DC's can effectively gameplan for Peterman...

Gives us a good chance to really be able to move the ball well on offense...typically young QB's will do pretty well for about 4 weeks before they have enough on film that DC's can effectively gameplan specfically for him...Wentz looked great for first 4 weeks his rookie year and then the bottom fell out.

Gives us a good shot to do some damage on offense...

BUT, if Peterman has a special quality to him, they won't be able to shut him down entirely.  He will still be effective even after DC's get film on him.  If he turns out to be another Tom Savage...then yes, he will get shut down fairly quickly and QB1 will be drafted in April 2018.

No you have maybe 2. System is already in place. Unless Dennison redoes the playbook. New qb doesnt change the concepts.

It changes because Peterman makes throws Tyrod wouldn't dream of.

I'm pretty sure they just got game film on him from the last game, the Chargers will be prepared and it will be a good test for Peterman imo.

You can't take much of anything away from Garbage Time.

I'm not sure the onus is on the DC's to "stop" Peterman. Rather, can the OL provide three seconds of protection and will Peterman find a receiver.

Look, I like Peterman but have zero expectations.

Yeah...Tyrod on AVERAGE took over 3 seconds to throw...longest time in the NFL by far

Not really. They'll squat on short to intermediate routes that are known to be his strength while putting pressure on him.

Maybe maybe not. If he is accurate and quick enough he will still ge those balls in there.
