BaaadThingsMan
Yes go after him. Sign him instead of Gilmore No not a #1 pick, no way. If KC lets him walk, i'd make an offer, a good one. I'd sign a young db like bouye or someone to make up for losing Gilmore
Over 29 years of fanhood
Should the Bills make him a crazy offer in FA? Would anyone give up a number one? I'd pay him Gilmore money before paying Gilmore the Gilmore manager money
sjjr
Berry is a great player but probably would have fit better on a Rex defense. He's going to get paid big money somewhere.
KollegeStudnet
Don't see it. Poe would be a great pickup if Kyle does decide to retire.
thebandit27
Don't see it. Poe would be a great pickup if Kyle does decide to retire. I'm not prepared to pay him the $10M AAV he's going to want. I mean, Damon Harrison never made a pro bowl, and he got $9M per last offseason, so Poe isn't a stretch at $10M. For a guy that doesn't give you much of a pass rush, and hasn't really helped KC's run defense, that doesn't seem palatable for me.
CardinalScotts
hes one of the worst safeties in coverage...chiefs tried to hide him. His stats don't look that bad but if you watched him play he's terrible

YoloinOhio
@rapsheet #Chiefs are negotiating a deal with Eric Berry for him to be the highest paid safety in @NFL, source says. The sides are working hard at it.

The sides are working hard at it. Highest paid safety in the NFL is about the same pay grade as an NBA slouch. Antonio Brown (highest paid WR) 5 years 73 million, Timofey Mozgov 4 years 64 million. He plays 20 minutes a night! NFLPA is weak.
YoloinOhio
Chefs just gave that Canadian guard who is a part time med student a pretty nice extension yesterday. Apparently he shares an agent with Berry. This will get done today and they will use the tag on Poe. Berry said he will sit out rather than on the tag. The old Von Miller strategy. YoloinOhio
@rapsheet Sources: The #Chiefs & S Eric Berry are finalizing a 6-year deal worth $78M. It makes him the highest paid safety in the @NFL. Well-deserved
