The many years a Korean American mother, say, might spend tutoring her children to ensure they win a place in an accelerated math or science program are now meaningless in districts that have eliminated these programs in the name of “equity.” Why would the bulk of American Jews continue to vote for a presidential administration like Joe Biden’s that funds Palestinian terror, or whose up-and-coming leadership, like Rashida Tlaib and Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, promote organizations that celebrate the murder of Jews? Given a choice, no rational person would defend any of these policies. Thus the need for street violence, to take decision-making out of the realm of the rational. It’s about fear: Mouth off and you won’t like what happens to your business, your home, your wife, your children. More than 200 rioters — most fully clad in black and many wearing gas masks — trashed the troubled City of Roses soon after a peaceful march ended late Tuesday, according to the Portland Police Bureau (PPB). “People threw frozen water bottles, glass bottles, eggs and metal spikes at officers and fired mortar-style fireworks at officers,” the police bureau said. Feinstein said she didn’t see them abolishing it. “I don’t see us abolishing the 60-vote threshold. I don’t.” Asked if she would vote to do away with it, she said, “This is the first time I’ve heard it. No one has proposed it. No one has talked to me about it. So it’s a non-issue.” The Democratic anger in response to that was glorious to behold. The left, including some of the same people that completely turn a blind eye to Joe Biden’s babbling incompetence and pretend that old Grandpa Disaster is just fine, went after Feinstein with the hook, basically calling her senile.
