Bob freakin Lamb?! This is the second time in two days your name has arisen from the dead. Good to see you, dude.

Bob Lamb.... how great it would be to see you return. Thanks once again for that Bills stuff you sent me a few years back!!!!

One of the worst decision of my life was to toss out my copies of "Shout" when we moved from Roch to NJ.

I was at the game. If you think Marvin Lewis should be fired (I don't, though he isn't absolved of all blame), then Tomlin should be fired too. Not only because he underachieves every year with a HOF QB and befoe Saturday hadn't won a playoff game in 6 years, but because he perpetuates a culture of dirty play, stupid penalties, and embarrassing antics by players and coaches including himself. It was gross. Has been like that all year. I don't care who won, but do I think Brown was faking at the end? Yep. No doubt in my mind. He's already cleared to play, he never had a concussion, he flopped. Porter was not on the field to check on him, he never even looked at him, he was there to stir things up. How many times is William Gay going to the dirty bird in the end zone and guys taking 15 yarders for taunting before Tomlin does anything? He does not discipline his players at.all. The Bengals deserved to lose. But anyone who thinks the Bengals are the only team to be stupid and dirty are overlooking a lot on the other side.

It was a very volatile crowd and atmosphere. It was the weirdest game. Guys with their helmets off on the field, running into the locker room after plays, assistant coaches getting into it with players - wtf. The official were asleep out there for most of the game and then let the outcome rest on their subjective call. The Steelers didn't deserve to move on any more than Cincy.

The Jets had a low number of penalties with Rex the last few years he was there. The Bills had more with Marrone than the Jets did with Rex.

Just for the record, here's a tabulation of The Bills Penalties accepted by the opposition, and vice-versa.

Year	HC	Bills Penalties	Opponents Penalties
1998	Phillips	123	104
1999	Phillips	117	73
2000	Phillips	101	103
2001	Williams	123	93
2002	Williams	112	117
2003	Williams	103	110
2004	Mularkey	121	120
2005	Mularkey	120	124
2006	Jauron 87	90
2007	Jauron 78	73
2008	Jauron 71	72
2009	Jauron, Fewell	107	107
2010	Gailey 82	85
2011	Gailey 86	85
2012	Gailey 104	80
2013	Marrone 110	108
2014	Marrone 124	104
2015	Ryan 143	113

This is sure to make some yearn for the glory years of Jauron and Gailey!

From 1998 through 2014, The Bills averaged 104 penalties called on them per game.

From 1998 through 2015, they averaged 106 penalties called on them per game.

Now for the JESTS:

HC	Jets / Opponents Penalties
Ryan	88	87
Ryan	103	74
Ryan	102	110
Ryan	83	109
Ryan	108	92
Ryan	109	91
Bowles	96	90

The Jets Average since 2009 - including Bowles' rookie year in 2015 is 98 penalties per game.

In Rex's tenure the Jets amassed an astounding 98.8 penalties per game.

Obviously Woody had to get that penalty average down... and he did! :w00t:

This is the most ridiculous take so far.

He flopped all right---like a rag doll straight to the ground. If you think he faked all that then...I don't even know what tot say.

Your man cave needed help

Most of mine bit the recycle bin a long time ago - though I kept a few of the classics. The new generation doesn't seem to appreciate the past. On the flip side - this NFL is nothing like the past. Can't even decide what a "catch" is anymore

Adam Jones was on Dan Patrick this morning and said he was faking. He even winked at him as he was walking off the field. And since they immediately kicked the FG we won't know if he would have come back.

Yeah I know, but "Cleveland Rocks" was saying it as well. Simply crazy. Pacman is retarded--he also said Brown deserved "a Grammy" for his flop.

I don't get it. I was at a bar with friends during the last two minutes of that game, so I couldn't hear the play by play, but it looked to me like the refs gave Pittsburgh a bogus 15 yard penalty and then followed it with another 15 yard penalty because they weren't happy about having a playoff game stolen. Did I miss something?

That sums it up perfectly, at least from my vantage point!

With a lack of discipline being sort of a thing in Cinci and after this embarrassing lack of composure to close out a crucial game; I wonder how hot his seat just got?

There aren't many possible replacements out there, but if he doesn't deliver big next year than he will shirely be ousted...right? No way he's canned this weekend?

edited title for clarity.

The Bengals are cheaper than Ralph Wilson used to, they wouldn't fire him and have to pay two coaches.

That sums it up perfectly, at least from my vantage point!

I agree; that his used to be called playing football and was the price you'd pay for going over the middle. Ronnie Lott made it to the HOF with hits like that.
