Jmsbills
Here are my cuts and cap space moves. Player Dead Money. Cap savings No brainers: M. Williams. 7 mil. 12.9 mil L. McKelvin. 1 mil. 3.9 mil D. Carpenter 1.025. 1.76 mil K. Urbik. 850k. 1.775 mil A. Dixon. 166k. 1.150 mil J. Wynn. 125k. 1.0 mil TOTALS 10.166 mil. 22.485 Tougher decisions: I like these players but age, injuries and cap costs vs. savings will come into play. K. Williams. 3 mil. 5.0 mil E. Wood. 3.6 mil. 2.475 mil M. Lawson. 1.0 mil. 2.65 TOTALS. 17.766. 32.61 mil. With these moves we can resign they guys that they deem worthy of keeping and get active in the FA market. McKelvin, Dixon, Lawson yes- not sure about Mario he is a product of the Rex mess. If Rex is gone keep/restructure. I would also add EJ to the chopping block. Miyagi-Do Karate
This is the wrong strategy, IMO. We are in a great position to succeed now with lots of talent. I think you keep the good players and keep building, not create more holes.
Canadian Bills Fan
I still think its time to cut ties with McKelvin CBF
Johnny Hammersticks
I think Urbik's salary is reasonable for what he is asked to be. A decent veteran back-up interior lineman. I thought he actually held his own pretty well this year, IMO. I think he is worth keeping around.

Tough choice on Lawson - if we keep the same scheme, then keep him, else wise drop him. the other mentions -- don't let the door hit you where the the good lord split you. Johnny Hammersticks
Is Lawson that bad? He is versatile and Rex loves him :0) I don't claim to be a football expert, but isn't Lawson a perfect 3-4 OLB? I know he is advancing in years, but again, at the very least you're talking about a reasonably priced depth player.

Johnny Hammersticks
Wynn is pretty good. Undoubtably a good depth player, but does he fit the scheme? Would he be a 3-4 DE or OLB? I thought he was more of a 4-3 DE.
