  1. Looks like the Strength & Conditioning guys along with Danny Crossman are the only ones to survive the post Rex era. Should save tons by not having the largest coaching staff in the league. No wonder no one had any idea what was going on.
  2. I live in South Florida and have been going to one game in Buffalo a year for twenty years; one other road game and the Dolphin game in Miami. I do not want to think about how much I have spent over the past twenty years.
  3. Yes we been so successful going the OLD WAY - let's just keep doing things the way we have done them in the past. ( we must have at least two or three stars on our roster from the last 3 drafts - great results Any real good talent evaluator could make a QB decision in a few games based on the players skill set and ability to make plays. If that guy does not have the talent you move on the the next guy. But you guys just want the same old same old stuff - I would like to make the playoffs again in my lifetime. PLEASE TERRY MAKE A DIFFERENCE BE BOLD AND CREATE A NEW WAY OF THINKING
  4. 2017 Draft Round 1 - best QB on the board -Mitch Trubisky or Desaun Watson Rounds 2-4 - Brad Kaaya and Chad Kelly By not picking up TT'S option we will have enough cash to sign our own guys and get the best receiver option out there. Fill in the rest with free agents and later drafts picks. The team with any of the QB's listed above can not be any worse than TT and everyone of them is a better passer.
  5. Look at the Bright Side - they will pick up TT's option - we will be in salary cap jail and still have have no QB. Boy I can not wait until training camp 2017.
  6. Tyrod is brutal when he has to come from behind late in games. When forced to pass he is not even close to an elite NFL QB. Pray he can do it with his legs. Otherwise this is a loss and another no playoff year. He we go 1st down inside the three or four yard line. Three and out here and GAME OVER.
  7. The Bills did the right thing with TT. If he plays well this season and deserves a big dollar contract, he will get it. The bills will need to create cap space and it may be a tough pill to swallow for some. In 2017 the following guys would be at risk of being cut to make room for TT and his 18-20 million contract. Kyle Williams - 6.8 million savings - 1.5 dead money; Eric Wood - 4.5 million savings and 1.8 dead money; Corey Graham - 3.7 million savings and 1.6 dead money and Dan Carpenter 2.4 million savings and 500k dead. There are no others with big hits that are or maybe expendable. Cutting five guys at 1 million does not come close to opening up the cap space needed. We need to draft a center this year ( I was glad to see one was signed yesterday), a DT and a QB? If TT does not play well then we go forward with Plan B. ( that's why I am not opposed to drafting a QB early) Just my thoughts on the TT contract issues.
  8. It's a throwing league and when your QB loses most game when throwing over 20 passes your in trouble. Three wins when throwing over over passes is not a long term answer at QB. Wins against Miami, NYJ and Houston with 29, 27 and 21 attempts and losses in all other games he throws over 20 times is not a receipe for success in today's NFL. Yes you can beat the bad teams that way but will never have a chance to win big meaningful games or playoff games on a regular basis with that type of QB production.
  9. TT had a good year and a good game - but look what is gets us - a .500 team. That is what he is and will always be. But that's ok if you want a mediocre QB and team.
  10. Here are my cuts and cap space moves. Player Dead Money. Cap savings No brainers: M. Williams. 7 mil. 12.9 mil L. McKelvin. 1 mil. 3.9 mil D. Carpenter 1.025. 1.76 mil K. Urbik. 850k. 1.775 mil A. Dixon. 166k. 1.150 mil J. Wynn. 125k. 1.0 mil TOTALS 10.166 mil. 22.485 Tougher decisions: I like these players but age, injuries and cap costs vs. savings will come into play. K. Williams. 3 mil. 5.0 mil E. Wood. 3.6 mil. 2.475 mil M. Lawson. 1.0 mil. 2.65 TOTALS. 17.766. 32.61 mil. With these moves we can resign they guys that they deem worthy of keeping and get active in the FA market.
  11. I told all of you back in preseason that TT is not the answer. As a long time ACC guy I watched him all through college at VaTech and there is now way he was ever going to be a Top Tier NFL QB. I said it from the start and some of you are coming around. I was hoping that I was wrong but he will not ever be a top NFL QB. We do we go from here ? I would draft two QBs per year until we find one. In the NFL QB is where it starts and ends. How did Rex destroy this team in less than a season. Someone please tell me how he ruined a really good defense into the laughing stock of the NFL. The Jets must be laughing their A---s off!!!
  12. No one out there cares one bit about playing - what a shame. I hope TP blows up the entire organization and starts from scratch.
  13. I have been a bills fan all my life. I am 54 years old and think this may be the most disappointing season I can remember. I guess I was caught up in the hype of Rex. But seriously, I said many times that we have no QB, stats are for losers. Rex preachs about TT's stats but there are meaningless. The offense has way to many 3 and outs, and does not do well in obvious passing situations. I wanted to believe this was going to be a playoff year, but way to many injuries at critical positions and not having a top flight QB, we were destine for failure. Rex likes to talk up TT passer stats, but do not mention to him anything about our poor defensive stats. He says our Defense is way better that the stats show. Not sure why he can get the stats argument both ways. In any ever, it will be another long off season, talking about new coaches, free agents, the draft. OH Boy - we have all done this way to much over the past 14 years.
  14. The season is over we can now concentrate on extending TT for 15-20 million per year. Let's GO NOWHERE FAST.
  15. Please stop the nonsense - that is ridiculous to compare TT to BRADY.
  16. Let's not make this an EJ vs. TT competition. TT is the starter and is not now nor ever going to be a franchise QB. If you watched him in college at VA Tech, he was ok but not an NFL caliber QB and that is what we have now five years post VA TECH. He is just ok. If good QB's were easy to find everyone would have one - but there are only a few really good ones out there, the rest are just ok some a little better, some a little worse. I can only hope one day we get luck and find a true franchise QB - until then it's QB purgatory.
  17. When you do not have a QB who can hit receivers in stride over the middle - you do not get YAC. TT is the most over rated passer in the NFL. If you are a stats guys, then look at his and feel good - but he has never passed the eye test. His throws are usually late and even many of his deep balls are under thrown to open receiver who have to slow down to catch the ball. Many times he just puts to much air under the ball, which results it underthrows. Thus no YAC.
  18. Dear Santa - All I want for Christmas is a QB - it's been a long time since we had one in Buffalo.
  19. That is the difference between a top ( the best ) NFL QB and a journey man QB - who many out there already want to pay 15-18 million per season. As Doug W. said in preseason we are in QB purgatory.
  20. Just let the season play out - no matter what he is paid he will be "over paid". With the exception of only a few QBs most are way over paid - it's the nature of the business. Just ask Dolphin fans how they feel about the Ryan T deal.
  21. Fire Whaley and bring back Tom Donahoe --PLEASE STOP THE NONSENSE - there are 5 really good QB's in all of Football - the rest are sometimes good and sometime bad as DW said we are in QB purgatory - let's hope TT has more good than bad the rest of the way.
  22. Agreed - the injury bug can not continue all season - beat JAX then bye week and get healthy for a strong second half. Wins over Jax and Miami we are at 5-3. If we can stay healthy this team will be fine for the second half. I would rather have early injuries and finish strong and healthy. It all starts Sunday in London - let's win one there mates!!!!!
