OC Greg Roman says EJ Manuel must "trust his eyes, trust what he sees" against the Jaguars "and let it rip."

Damn right. EJ had lots of time to throw last week and still wouldn't throw to anyone but Clay. As the Brits say, stay calm and make throws. Edited by PromoTheRobot

This is a great matchup for EJ to get his mojo back. We have to hope Easley and/or Moore are ready to catch a few balls (not fair catches at the 5). Gragg will continue to emerge as the defense will key in on Clay. Still think we win this handsomely.

speaking of Moore, I wonder if they will activate Leo for punt returns...

@TyDunne

For the #Bills, it's again EJ Manuel Time. http://bills.buffalonews.com/2015/10/22/for-the-bills-its-ej-manuel-time/

@TyDunne

How much has #Bills OC Greg Roman had to change the offense due to injuries? “Huge, huge, huge adjustments have been made."

Is it fair to say that if EJ has another game like last week, where all the "old, bad EJ" habits were on display, in spite of the supposed advances we saw in preseason, that we can officially drop support for him as a potential starter and mentally begin around here to move on to another potential "franchise QB"?

Roman: EJ can become great

EJ Manuel said Thursday that he’s still a young quarterback with a lot to learn, but offensive coordinator Greg Roman believes Manuel has a very high ceiling. He sees rare potential in Buffalo’s former first-round pick.

“As a quarterback, it’s probably the toughest job in professional sports. There’s a lot of moving parts, a lot of things you have to negotiate every play,” Roman said. “We simply want to execute with consistency, play after play after play in machine-like fashion. When you really watch the elite quarterbacks in the National Football League, one of the characteristics of these people is they are simply in a machine like fashion, doing what they’re supposed to do over and over and over. I think EJ’s got the type of makeup to really go down that path.”
