Do We Have Any Bernie Sanders Supporters Among Us?

What sense is that? Um...one is secured by real property, and the other is secured by "I sorta-kinda promise to pay, if I get a job after school and my payment isn't so much that I can't afford a new iPhone every year?"

Umm the student loan debt is secured by you D00D...it is facilitated by banks but is "secured" by the good ole US of A... since it can't be eliminated by bankruptcy...its going to get repaid...

I don't get this. Why would anti-sexual assault groups be against this going to law enforcement?

Control.

of the message

and the results.

They want the schools (read Left) to decide about sexual assault.

I'm sorry but when a crime is committed you lose control of the investigation and results. You can still control the message however but law enforcement still needs to be involved.

No it may not be paid back. It can be forgiven in 20 years or 10 years if you work for the government.

I agree.

The Left/Universities do not.

They 'feel' that it can be better handled by their policies.

.

More to the point, their policies are focused more on protecting and supporting the victim, rather than investigating the crime. Because they feel that's more important.

If that leads to extra-legal scholastic "show trials" or administrative punishment...oh well. Protecting and supporting the victim is more important.

And their policies == a start chamber court, that has no accountability, no cross examination of witnesses, no due process, no judge who can throw out prejudicial evidence, no defense rights, no discovery of evidence...essentially nothing Constitutional or even close to be considered codified law. These policies are in every way: illegal. Law must hold both its subjects and its enforcers to a standard, or it is not law.

Why anyone needs to explain such things to people who attend/work/administrate a university is...baffling.

They feel they can better handle everything.

Yeah, like Obamacare.

See? I told you guys in 2009 that Obamacare would be a generational joke/auto-rip on Democrats for the rest of our lives.

Here it is 2016, and tell me, how is using Obamacare as the example of them "feeling they can better handle everything" anything other than appropriate? Obamacare will lose more elections for Demcrats than Reconstruction.

Hillary Attacks Bernie on Healthcare after Thanking Him on Healthcare
An interesting development from the last week: Hillary Clinton, apparently Feelin’ the Bern in Iowa and New Hampshire, has been attacking Bernie Sanders from the right.
“His plan would take Medicare and Medicaid and the Children’s Health Insurance Program and the Affordable Care Act health care insurance and private employer health insurance and he would take that all together and send health insurance to the states, turning over your and my health insurance to governors,” Clinton said, criticizing the Vermont socialist senator for his plan to turn the U.S. health-care system into a single-payer plan.
Even Chelsea has hit Bernie on the issue — indicating that this is a coordinated response from the Clintonistas — telling a New Hampshire audience on Tuesday, “Senator Sanders wants to dismantle Obamacare, dismantle the CHIP program, dismantle Medicare, and dismantle private insurance.”
Wow. Do the Clintons have Bernie confused with Ted Cruz?
But Sanders’s camp hasn’t hesitated to hit back, tweeting out an old picture of a certain someone thanking him for his “commitment to real health care access for all Americans.”
