KD in CA
I love my kids more than anything, but it's the Super Bowl. He can dedicate a pick-six to his baby boy and see him a couple hours later.

Miyagi-Do Karate
wonder if they can induce or do a planned c-section now. That's a real tough spot to be in, leaving your wife in the hospital and missing the birth of your first child.

If he brings home a nice 5-6 figure bonus check I am sure his wife wouldnt mind CBF

No idea but I bet Sherman brought it up to her!

NoSaint
Nothing is more important than Family... Imo assuming he has to be at the stadium atleast an hour prior (probably too aggressive, but whatever), plus a 4 hour game window, and transport time -- hed be out of pocket like 6 hours? itd be rough to pass up the super bowl due to being an hour or two late getting back. tough spot. Canadian Bills Fan
I know everyone is different but if this was my wife or gf and I was in Shermans position Im sure she would tell me to play the game. I mean why would she come to a AZ hospital if she wanted him to miss the game? I bet she says go win the SB and bring home that bonus cheque and then take the baby to meet the President!
