coldstorage5
Very Well, No missed blocks. Played Physical. 80% of all offensive snaps. Both LG and RG. after a pick he hustled down the C, and threw him 10 yards out of bounds. Did well on the pull plays, run plays and pass protection.Ali did as well as any one out there. Â Â Don't just believe me, look at this article, there are many more like it. http://www.d3football.com/seasons/2014/contrib/201501248islrf Edited January 25, 2015 by coldstorage5

motorguy
I had the honor to coach Ali in HS. Led us to our schools only championship game. A smart player that dominated in section 1.  The Bills need a Guard. ( a few) Check this write up.  http://sports.yahoo.com/blogs/nfl-shutdown-corner/small-school-standout-ali-marpet-putting-tiny-hobart-college-on-nfl-radars-004839486.html  This was his highlight film in HS.  Look how he knocks players down. then picks them up.  Hey Coach, can this kid catch a football fairly well.................? motorguy
Marpet came in a little light, he needs time to get bigger and stronger. I read somewhere he was listed at 317, but weighed 307 at the combine.
buffaloboyinATL
He ran the faster 40 for OL at combine. 4.98. Projects as guard or center according to Mayock and company. Mayock was also impressed with his position drills and said he continues to impress. Edited February 20, 2015 by buffaloboyinATL

gonzo1105
With the lack of quality interior offensive lineman it wouldnt surprise me if he went in the 3rd round.
motorguy
With the lack of quality interior offensive lineman it wouldnt surprise me if he went in the 3rd round. I don't see a scenario where he is still there in the 5th, the third is more likely.

Dr. Who
McShay was raving about how good Marpet looked at the combine yesterday. I think he's going to go third round. Hope we take him.
